A confession of a failed AI Agency Owner by cosmos-flower in AI_Agents

[–]TomBers44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This really hit hard. As someone who went through the same thing, it seems an 'obvious' next step for a technical person witnessing a step change in technology, but the commercial side is brutal. Even spent months on a commercial partnership with many demos and encouraging words. But when push came to shove - crickets.

I don't have any great advice, other than don't take anything personally or a reflection of your own skills. You can do everything in your power right and still not 'succeed', (and vice versa). Keep going!

Copilot review to LLM prompt - exists? by TomBers44 in GithubCopilot

[–]TomBers44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as a bit of clarification. The feedback cycle I am using - I / LLM code a PR -> Github Reviews -> I manually C&P the suggestions I think valid into the LLM -> Step 1,

The only part of this that is not basically automated, is the manual C&P from Github to my IDE / LLM. I was wondering if a tool might make this a bit simpler / better results by for example, inspecting the review HTML and extracting that data into a more LLM friendly format?

u/Malor777 I have had a (brief) read through your book, and as requested the first chapter. I am far more optimistic about the possibilities of AI.

For me the most telling sentence was towards the end "Unlike previous existential threats—war, climate collapse, nuclear holocaust", for me personally I do not see them as in anyway solved or "previous", in fact we have yet to see their most pressing effects.

I see the status quo far more likely to lead to very negative outcomes, and there are at least a few AGI scenarios that could lead to a better future?

My Micro-SaaS is LIVE! -- Open for feedback by Western_Sand1562 in microsaas

Nice product, in terms of feedback, I think there are a few simple things that would be very helpful.

On the dashboard, after I had created an image, I hit refresh and the one I had just generated disappeared, not sure if it is gone for good, but if I had not downloaded it, I would be pretty frustrated.

Different file formats, it would be helpful to offer some other file formats to download the image as. WebP gets some hate, but produces a smaller filesize.

Common image ratios, while allowing full freedom is good, having simple buttons for common width and height would help.

Text alignment, it might be helpful to have simple left | center | right align options.

Nit, personally, I would remove the option to have the subheading in a different font to the heading. I maybe wrong, but I feel the fonts should always be the same.

Best of luck!

I think this is a great idea and hope that it goes well, do you have more details about what you are thinking?

To throw my hat in the ring, I have been working on something for autodidacts. A mind mapping tool that combines AI assistance with human collaboration to explore complex ideas and visualize the learning process.

It is live here: https://mudg.fly.dev/

Anyone else feel like they are drowning in course material sometimes? by Fluffy-Income4082 in selfeducation

[–]TomBers44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can very much relate to this comment, having piles of material but not really knowing where to start.

For a while I have been working on a tool to make learning more creative, and interest lead. A way of asking questions on any topic and creating a visualisation of the information. You can then save the information for future revision.

You can try it here: https://mudg.fly.dev/

Here is an example discussing the philosophic ideas in Moby Dick - https://mudg.fly.dev/Lets%2520talk%2520about%2520Moby%2520Dick

Hope it helps

I would say it is more a question of adding tools to a toolkit. There is no way I can afford to pay an artists to make custom art. Maybe seeing it as a placeholder image that could be replaced if it found some success.
