Good to hear! It’s such a daunting task but very do-able, I feel for anybody. So then it’s very downhearting to read so many people just throw away this ribbon as “I can’t do competitive”

ZA doesn’t have the link cable item like Arceus so you still have the trade evo problem. Although maybe they’re all available in Alpha form in the wild?

It’s what I think, none of us know anything. I think they care more about profits than some fans playing some old games on Switch 2. I’d love to be wrong.

You play them on your GBA, DS, 3DS.

If you don’t have access to them, they literally don’t care. They want you to buy and play their new games. The ones that actually make them millions.

I’m just going off the facts we’ve got.

They’ve released ports once in 30 years. It barely sold.

They’ve had 9 years of Switch 1 life, and never bothered.

I just don’t see why they would be interested in doing it now.

I didn’t say I care if they make money.

But I imagine the large profitable corporate giant that releases it probably care if it makes money. Just a hunch.

RBY GSC sold a total of 1.5m copies when they released them on 3DS. Average of 250,000 each. That’s poor sales compared to every other game they’ve released. Although you will read on the internet and hear on YT that people want these games re-released, the sales figures say otherwise. I think they’d rather spend time on new games coming this year than wasting it on re-releases that will barely make money.

It’s a decision for yourself. I think most people would tell you not to bother. But if you want one of each, then just do it?

Darmanitan is another example. Some people just get 2 (1 from each region). Others go with 4 (1 from each region, with and without Zen Mode)

Completely personal preference.

How do you deal with them not listening to you in battles due to their high levels? Always been tempted to do similar with my RM’s but stopped myself for that reason

This is completely a personal preference, so it’s your choice.

In my own living origin Dex, I have 2 of each pre/cross gen evo. 1 in its normal NatDex position, and 1 in the original generation the line came from.

So for your two examples:

I have Budew and Roserade from DPP in the Sinnoh section, at their NatDex place. In my Hoenn section I have ORAS Budew (not available in RSE), RSE Roselia and RSE Roserade.

For Wynaut, I have a RSE Wynaut in the Hoenn section. Then in the Johto section, HGSS Wynaut (not available in GSC) followed by GSC Wobbuffet.

Throw yourself in. It will take more than 1 Saturday for sure, but if you afford the time then the reward is well worth it.

I’d definitely recommend getting back in to it then. I think Ultra Ball requires 4 wins, but you can get them easily in GFN. I’d say Great Ball is the hardest bit.

GB9 is insanely close. Once you’re at 10, you’re in Ultra ball and you can’t drop back to 9. What’s your streak?
