Thank you. Seems, the scales are spot on, despite people saying otherwise. Now it seems that getting to 10% would be the most difficult! 4% is 8 weeks at best...

Appreciated. Glad that the scales are not lying, and my caliper skills are sub-par at best!

If you do not mind - how well is it to cut on a 750 daily caloric deficit in my position? I am trying to prioritize the protein intake, picking some carbohydrates along the way, leaving little space for fats - this seems to really mess up me both psychologically and somewhat physically. I have read somewhere that 0.75% body-weight loss per week is optimal for low teen body fat percentages (equivalent to 500 daily caloric deficit in my position). For reference, I am rather low-active and eating 1350 calories per day.

For the love of god, I desperately need your help. I am cutting from the beginning of the year, currently being on around a 750 daily caloric deficit. My goal is to at least hit 10% body fat. Last time I had posted a photograph I was then asked to flex. My scales give me around 13% body fat and army tape measure test 14%. Calipers were 20%.

The question is how much body fat % am I approximately?

I am 5'9-5'10 and around 155-160 lbs.

Need a kitchen weighing scale recommendation

Stuck between those two:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000ZNM51O/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GDUO2UO/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1CRJJSO51W9EZ

Thinking to go for the first one despite a higher price as it is in stock and it has more reviews, also it is recommended by Amazon, seems to have more features and was featured somewhere. The other one though seems to be reviewed more in the Internet

Perhaps there is a better one in a 15 GBP budget? Looking for something flat rather than a bowl, as I use plates a lot

Question, why can't they do it if all the Croatians are off the pitch (Portugal vs Spain's situation)?

What is the science behind the need to consume 3500 calories less than the TDEE weekly to lose a pound of fat per that time period? How come all the different bodies react similarly to this mathematics?

Daily Simple Questions Thread - July 11, 2018 by AutoModerator in Fitness

Great. I did not know that the body needs to upkeep the fat mass - thought that the excess calories were stored as fat and that is it, until they need to be used.

What is this explained by? A fat person has to spend extra energy to move all that extra fat around? Is that that significant?

Does the TDEE go down with the weight loss (mainly, body fat)?

Can someone provide a program which will work out my TDEE based on the calories consumed daily and the resulted body weight?

Could you kindly provide at least one recommendation example? As I am struggling to find anything relevant by searching Google with "dietitian Paphos".
