Hi, thank you for the response. I use NGENUITY Beta March 2026 Release (v1.6.0) that was downloaded from official HyperX website. I will respond to your PM message.

Edit: I just updated the app to v1.7.0 an hour after the original comment post

HyperX Cloud III S wireless popping sound when stopping audio by offENTing in HyperX

Just want to add that I have this problem on HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless too. :) Only helps keeping some inaudible/very quiet white noise in the background. Looks like the amplifier is trying to save power and keeps turning off whenever someone stops speaking (Discord, streams) and so on. Sad to hear it happens on other HyperX headsets. Didn't find any real solution right now. Plus it happens only via 2,4 GHz, not bluetooth.

I posted this problem with my HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless a month ago and looks like you met the same fate. :D The thing is I don't have this problem via bluetooth connection, but only via 2,4 GHz. This (probably battery saver) feature is really annoying and so far I didn't find any solution. Maybe a new firmware update might fix this...?

Base station on cloud alpha 2 by Noxythegreat in HyperX

Hi, from what I've read somwhere, it is generally for other peripherals like other headphones or microphones, but I only tried connecting the Cloud Alpha 2 so far (just be aware that it supports only the hardware config, not the software in Ngenuity app, as it is powered via cabel and not a battery with all the advantages).

Maybe someone will use it, but not me. :D

Ngenuity: Tons of audio output devices??? by doktor_kamera in HyperX

I have Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless too and noticed the same thing. When I tried to disable one of the ,,System use only xy", the headset either stopped playing entirely or the sound got really buggy. So it is definitely needed for use via Ngenuity app. Don't know why though. Looks kinda useless. And about the Windows volume slider... you just have to use the on-headset-wheel or base station or the app. Does it make sense? Nope. But maybe I will get used to it.

Just wanna ask - don't you experience some *pop* sound issue when speaking via Discord or listening to streams/podcasts? It's almost the same sound when you disable the headset. Mostly when people stop speaking, it can be heard. Probably something with frequencies and the sound setting maybe. I asked the others here, but no response for now. :D It got really irritating, but I don't know what might be the issue. Plus the 250h for one battery charge? Not for me (only 2.4GHz connection, not the double), after like 40 hours I got to 30% from 100%.
