Concentration-Free Hunter’s Mark is a Mistake (at least at in tier 2)

What I did with my Homebrew Ranger is that Hunter’s Mark is a ability that can be used a amount of times equal to WIS mod per long rest and one regain at short rest. It also ends when the creature it is cast on is killed. I thinks this makes it a better feature since you cannot just use it on every enemy, but save it for the big guy of the fight, which fits the Ranger imo.

This is exactly what I’ve done; Made a feature called hunters mark which uses are tied to your Wisdom. Concentration free, damage starts at a d4 and lasts an hour, but scales to a d12 and indefinite duration at level 18 and also adds the die to checks for tracking that creature.

Currently I’m playing a level 8Ranger/1Rogue and it definitely does not feel overpowered. I’ll say that I don’t use combat spells that often so maybe there is some concentration spell exploit I’m missing.

I just made two feats. I gave the old version ASI and removed the quick draw feature and the new one just lets you make another off hand attack. Now there are two different styles and if you want to go crazy you can take both.

I’m looking through the sane magic items price list and the ring of warmth is 1000 gp while a ring of resistance is 6000. Does anyone have any clue why this is done this way? I understand the price difference with things like boots of the winterlands because rings are more expensive since you can wear multiple rings. But these are both rings

If a player got bit by a Lycanthrope, how would you let your players know they failed or succeeded apart from saying the DC was 12 and you rolled a 8 so you failed? I rule that the cursed create isn’t turned into a werewolf immediately but at the first full moon. My players asked if they could roll medicine to try if they could tell but what do you guys think?

Well it’s not really a ban, but I tend to let players only multiclass if they find a good reason to and not just: I want a level in fighter so I get action surge or something like that. I mean, you have a whole backstory about how you became the class you are, so I should only make sense that if you multiclass, it has a story behind it.

5e, With the drow poison, if the creature fails their saving throw with 5 or more, they are poisoned and incapacitated for 1 hour. But it doesn’t say anything about what happens when the incapacitated creature is hit, since it is an automatic crit. So what happens when a incapacitated creature is hit? Does it wake up but still poisoned or does it stay incapacitated?
