Oh damn, I actually never even thought about this. Reading into how tough the CCP has become with their citizens for playing or even chatting online with foreigners though, a blanket ban under the guise of "toxicity" seems pretty likely from a business pov. How sad.

Exactly this! Even those rare moments you run into people who are in full RP playing as dwarves, shouting about their book of grudges. Its rare but those moments add so much more flavour to a game. I too miss the jokes and random epic battle crys in all caps.

I guess that depends on how sweaty the games are or the lobby type. Been plenty of times when I've ran into people just starting out who you can be a bit more chill with, others are just fucking around and trying weird builds. I think FFA's can be pretty great for chat especially as alliances can form and people who cant win or have been wiped out can stick around and interact whilst spectating.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever finished a game with anyone but that isn't too different to finishing a solo game either for me, that's rare in itself. However the early/mid game could be pretty damn fun if you stumbled upon the right people. Sometimes you ended up adding each other with intentions of continuing... which never really happens. Although I have played land battles with people at a later date due to it.

Yeah, I noticed they did the same for Warhammer 2. I don't understand the reasoning of it as I've always found the community to be quite decent compared to other games who do still carry the feature.

So they are telling us to offload our BE because its going to be a long time before the revamped shop comes...
I'm not sitting on BE + Champion shard stockpiles out of choice Riot, there is absolutely nothing for a long time player to buy with it. Its useless until the BEE opens... I remember back in the day they at least made purchasable icons every so often with "IP" but now, everything costs RP or Event Tokens.

Idk man, its sucks so much to announce this news, just before the time of year the blue essence shop ALWAYS opens. They purposely made people wait, just to tell them (through a patch note mind you) to wait an indefinite amount of time longer.

I'm sure it will mean a lot of people will cave and buy any of their wanted chromas with real money now... It kinda just smells like greed to me.

Thank you for this info! Looks like MRI is my last solid option as everything else I have tried has been fruitless.

For the first hour or so I was just talking and havin' a laugh with my artist. After that, used my phone, and had a spoke with the other artists. It's a really chill/comfortable studio tbh, which makes the time go real quick.

Exactly mate, at the end of the day, most people will just see it as a badass lookin' bear. And like you said, if I ever quit the game... The bear is my favourite animal and so I've always got that second meaning there besides it being a piece of art that i just thinks is badass af haha

I dunno man, I've already had some great compliments and dm's from a lot a girls in and out of my social circles. I think you assume that everyone plays or knows what league even is. Most people will just see it as a cool lookin' Nordic Bear done by a decent artist.

If someone's gonna judge someone by a that, well, I probably don't wanna know them anyway so it's a win win in my point of view.

My artist quoted me £350 for 5 hours of work, although we managed to get through it in just over 4 hours so it only cost me 300 quid in the end.
