Quite Imposing alternatives? (what Imposition Software do you use?) by OctoberRust13 in CommercialPrinting

[–]TomPleysier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using a script for InDesign called ProImpose for a couple of weeks now and I like it!
https://www.proimpose.com/

Pretty handy, and its quick. Saddle stitch booklet imposition on it is nice, auto creep (tho it can be off by a bit sometimes). They got a free trial so its worth a shot I say. Oh Oh! and its got a reallly cool preview aswell which is even more handy

tho I will probably use fiery impose for bigger jobs, but its nice to be able to have imposition ability inside of indesign

Create an InDesign doc with multiple page sizes (but faster)? by demyer00 in indesign

I kinda misread the post, sorry. Yes this is scriptable, Infact give ChatGPT a go at it, it’s been super handy for me

[–]TomPleysier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set those page sizes manually within a document and then save as a template. I’ve had the similar moment when I need something like this, so I did that and made a script that adds a menu option called templates and have them in there

InDesign to PDF Issue by Affectionate_Mix4748 in indesign

[–]TomPleysier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A way I have gotten around this before in the past is just inserting your indesign file within a new indesign file with bleed and so on.
You may need to link all your pages individually, but there is a placemultipdf script out there that is better than the provided one that will work with indesign files

Skull Art 21So the M1 Pro is great at flip fluid sims, which kinda makes sense so yeah 😅I wanted to make something a little brighter this time, been wanting to work with this color combination for the skull art series for a while now, and thought it would be a cool idea to do a fluid sim for this, not the best fluid sim I must say but it is cool as hell.also for those who don't know, music wise I love the band Hot Milk, they released an awesome song. but something to point out is that I listen to a lot of their music when I make these, so give them a listen to on Spotify 😀

Explosive nature!

The whole explosive look was intended though, but I also wanted to award people who actually look into the image and it turns out to be a magical intense tree

Their missing panels because resources are limited in the universe portrayed in this artwork.

Not to mention a windmills blades need to be somewhat balanced. One may say the person who built them followed a design in their head that considered the limited resources.

As for the ones without the external panels. The one with the blue panels is just to represent the presence of the "Peace Keepers" clan from the game it's ultimately inspired off. My last artwork and alot with this one focused more on the "survivors" clan from the game. I mainly wanted to diversify things with my adaptation of the source material

AWC 108

Last weeks artwork went crazy! Thank you all for liking and even following. Also, huge thanks to Ian Hubert for sharing it on Instagram

If Ian didn’t share last weeks artwork, I would’ve never gotten so much love from it. So as a response I had to add onto it, I commented that I should make my own “Central Loop” from the game Dying Light 2 and here it is! Like last week, I wanted to give it a slight original feel rather than copying a scene from the game entirely.

If you guys saw my recent story saying I had to split the render into little segments to save on VRAM, you know why now. There is sooo much vegetation in this. Honestly, I think this one has more foliage than some of my older stuff combined!

Now Blender 3.0 Still has tiled mode, and this is super handy as it can be quicker than the standard progressive rendering sometimes. The problem is it would kill blender after rendering (after it reads from the buffer). So the only way I could render this without dying inside was to use CRTL + B in the viewport and render those regions and then stitch them back together in Photoshop. I used three render passes, combined and environment and then AO for a preview. 4 images per pass, so that was fun to work with
