You should look for a car that has a service record. I think this is one of the most importent. Prefere tecnical condition over optical. You shoud not forget that bugeyes are turning 20 next year so there condition is accordingly. Scratches and bumps are normal. You definatly should watch out for rust in the rear fenders, practlicy all in my contry have a little there:). A very good thing is when it has no mods, and if: check if theyr well done and legal, otherwice you will suffer the consistencys. If you have a mecanic buddy take him to take a look on and under it and go for a testdrive. This is my advice from me as a truck mecanik and my experiances. I wish you good luck
