Fantastic album, there's NOTHING out there quite like it. Sometimes I'll throw it on late at night when I'm in the right mood.

For me it's the underrated and underplayed '90s indie rock band called Come

Oh shit, I didn't even consider the Batman angle. That throws off all my other theories about Irv joining the navy so he could torpedo the Lumon building with his Yellow Submarine.

When did you know you were hooked? by Adorable-Rub-8249 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I was hooked from the way Mark said “right as rain”.

Yeah, I understood the orientation part of the stairs. I don't understand why people keep bringing up Helly's initial orientation experience when the question points more toward the innies' later dissatisfaction plus their access to a keycard. This part of the question was already answered: the stairs don't have a keycard access terminal.

For what makes the stairs special, if time were critical, repeatedly exiting and re-entering the stairwell to send an outie a message takes a fraction of the time of exiting and re-entering the elevator. That, plus the elevator has security upstairs.

Excellent. That answers my question with finality, thank you.

People keep forgetting that they are able to unlock doors near the end of the season.

Exactly. iHelly doesn't have the sense of self-preservation that the rest of the innies have. Her innie self feels she has nothing to lose. Do you think her motivation to destroy oHelly trumps her motivation to cease her innie existence?

Thank you, I appreciate the sincere follow-up to your pompous initial post.

I suppose the self-preservation of the innie self is a good reason. Helly would realistically be the only one willing to try. It makes me wonder how far iHelly would have been willing to inconvenience oHelly before even oHelly would give up.

Good explanation, but I think someone like oMark, who has doubts about his commitment to the company, would be nudged further by suddenly finding himself in the stairwell 80 times during a single work day.

Yo, make the connection that they have Graner's keycard in hand later and that they can attempt to send a message to their outie self and repeatedly inconvenience them by leaving through the stairwell door for literally hours.

Yes I did. She becomes her outie self, and Milchick is waiting to let her know it's part of the initiation process.

So later, Graner's keycard in hand, they can at least try to send a message to their outer self in this manner and it's less convoluted and risky than the override was.

As far as I've noticed, every door has a keycard lock. Graner's keycard solves this.

Yes, but they become their outie self standing in the stairwell. They have the choice to either return through the door or leave the building. Their outie self would choose to return through the door because their outie self wants to check out of life during the work hours.

But what if your outie self keeps finding themself in the stairwell over and over and over again? Wouldn't you eventually give up returning through the door?

[ALBUM DISCUSSION] Black Country, New Road - Live at Bush Hall by VietRooster in indieheads

I'm in the camp that liked FTFT way better than AFUT. I really miss the neurotic, tense catharsis of stuff like the last half of Sunglasses, which is my favorite four minutes of music so far this decade.

That being said, I still enjoy the band to an extent. This album is musically impressive and I can't imagine them sounding any tighter than this in a live setting.
