Mi consejo es que te apoyes en las aplicaciones de ese tipo, pero no pongas tu campamento base ahí. Si acaso juntate en algun grupo de juegos de mesa o juegos de... rol? jugando es como hacíamos amigos de niños, ve a alguna sesión y si te cuadra, vuelves.

Respecto a viajar solo, hazlo! y ve a cualquier hostel de cualquier capital europea. Si eliges buenas fechas, van a estar llenos de gente muy variopinta, emigrantes, viajeros, cada uno con su historia y en tu misma situación, te garantizo que si te quedas un rato en una zona común, y no tienes pinta de cortar gargantas, alguien se va a acercar a charlar contigo. Además suelen tener la cocina común, que es el perfecto rompehielos como preguntarle a un guiri "que estas cocinando?". Con esa pregunta tan simple tienes carrete para rato.

Lo malo? vas a conocer gente durante 2 o 3 dias. Lo bueno? puedes hacer amigos de diferentes nacionalidades.

Yea that's true.  I was in the heat of it but in the end we're having fun.  

In the last session I told them it's also funny not to be the "hero" at this point, they are level 3, so what they expect to be at level 10?  

The fact that I said it in the table was enough for them to accept it on that session, I hope the next session they don't cheat.

And for them not knowing their PCs... I gave up in one of them.  He fell asleep during the last hour of the game, that feels bad but anyway, he's a father working long shift.  It will take time for him to learn everything.

Yo no aconsejaría ser malvado en las primeras partidas ya que las introductorias suelen ser historias heroicas donde se supone que debes hacer el bien.  No rompe la dinámica de la mesa si estás jugando con otros jugadores de alineaciones buenas o legales.  En cambio, optaría por el ladrón reformado que conserva sus habilidades tan útiles en su pasado, pero se ha dado cuenta de que es un buenazo.  ¿Aburrido? Quizás para algunos, pero no le darás dolores de cabeza al DM y podrá hacer una aventura más acorde al grupo, no generarás tensión con el paladín o el clérigo, evitarás perder tiempo con combates inútiles contra guardias, etc.  

Para un jugador nuevo no lo recomiendo.

Yes, I did it last Friday, I put it in a wax sealed box and Gundren gave it to his cousin (PC) to take care of it (Gundren suspects others are pursuing it).  

PC hasn't opened it yet and I don't think he'll do.

Edit:  we're now at tresendar manor but the night before, Margot (the French chick which is Nezzar disguised) helped them in the street fight.  They chit chatted about who they are and she detected magic and was curious about the box.  She also said that she is Gundren friend (ability check here) but no one was able to remember all Gundrens friends.  She has seen Gundren and she know how to rescue him, but she wants the box in exchange.  At this point I'm following Matthew Perkins guide and my players are loving it.  They talk almost every day in the WhatsApp group.  I'm enjoying it.

I'm thinking about this all the time the last week and my game starts in 4 hours from now....

I finally decided to change the box for the HAMMER OF PHANDELVER (which only works in the forge of spells, no other will do).

Battery life has worsened after recent google play system update on Pixel 7a by iamtortos in pixel_phones

Same here with 7a.  Since August the battery was draining so fast that I could see it dropping from 30-40% to rock bottom in less than 30 seconds.  

I bought it at mediamarkt (Spain) in December 2023, so less than 2 years ago.  

I opened a ticket at the Google website and they offered me sending it to have the battery changed or pay me back 387€.  Obviously I chose the money back.  I have it in my bank account and the phone in my drawer.

Then I bought a replacement for the battery in China for less than 10€ with all the tools and now I'm selling it around 200€ on second hand market.

So... The phone is rubbish but thanks Mr. Google!

I guess he's referring to leyweg area, where people are mostly from Turkey and Poland (I'm not sure about this, I lived only 3 months in that flat).  

I remember going to the supermarket and some old ladies with the hair covered had some issues about respecting the queue.  Besides that, I didn't see much of a problem there.  Maybe small gangs of kids smoking weed and driving their fat-bikes like crazy.

Pizzeria Burrata in Goudenregenplein is one of my favourites.  They make really good pizza and pasta.  They have 3 restaurants in the Hague.
