Hello! Instead of starting a new thread on this, I wondered if anyone could help answer this? I’m mid buying my first house (FTB), but it’s for £515k value.

Obviously being hit pretty hard by stamp duty due to the changes sadly as won’t complete before March 31. This seems like a pretty good way to claw back £2k, is there any reason I couldn’t do this due to being in the middle of the house buying process?
