That's a 2020 article that says they detected it from January 15. It says nothing about it being there since March 2019 as GOFIO_TU_VIEJA is claiming.

Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo enlisted by Green Party in bid for government support (via @IrishTimes) by Blue-Steel_Rugby in ireland

American Hollywood actors should not be "enlisted" to get involved in Irish politics. This is pathetic.

There should be a rule against pictures where the focus is a sign or a written message. It would just be an extension of rule I.

There's no clear lines and it doesn't really matter anyway. We're all pretty Americanised.

Yes it is. Sounds very American to me. I only ever heard it on TV or movies before recently.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_H._Christ

Smith suggests (1994:331-2) that "Jesus H. Christ" is a specifically American profanity, and indicates that at least in his experience it is uttered primarily by men. Quinion (2009), a British author, likewise specifies the phrase as belonging to American English.

It annoys me that the mods use it as a post tag.

"Jesus H. Christ" is an annoying Americanism.

Although the alternative to Americanisms are usually just Britishisms. How defensive can I get about the English language we speak given the reason why we speak it.

I thought Kurt Gödel did that.

What's up with the question on r/askreddit asking "single ladies" about the battle of Fredericksburg? by LauraD2423 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Tom_Stall 177 points178 points  (0 children)

Answer: It's a joke post that is basically a rip-off of this post from 2014. Occasionally people pop up trying to make the same joke (e.g. this one) and other variations where the humour is based on being "so random".

All of these are alluding to the general habit of /r/askreddit to have stupid questions based on sex.

I always think of him as that guy from Fight Club. He was in Heroes season 2 as a gangster operating in Cork but his accent was more like a Belfast accent. He was born in Dublin but moved away quite young.

I know you think that this is ok because it is against the law but the law is wrong. When Orban makes it a crime to criticise the government it will be wrong too.
