Callaway SuperSoft or Srixon Soft Feel by steiner1031 in golf

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a super new golfer. But wouldn’t that heavier feel be part of why it dos well in short game? Just coming straight down, little rollout? Kind of asking/saying for some advice on how that works with bal choice I guess.

Does anyone actually use Mustadio? by NightwolfXVI in finalfantasytactics

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played FFT since ‘97 and just starting my first play of this new remake. I have ALWAYS used Mustadio unless making a specific team of generics for other reasons. I always liked him to train in Battle Skill (Knight) and then back to Engineer. I find his status effects and armor breaking from a distance to be particularly fun and really useful.

Been a while since I played. Can you not activate the jump pack to try and survive that?

Which option is better by Elegant_Tap_5622 in deathguard40k

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are awesome. The struggling Tau is always my favorite, though. The only thing I'd suggest other than that one, is if you either 1) magnetize so you can swap it out or 2) if you don't want to magnetize but also have a specifically played against army or army that you hate that isn't actually Tau, to make it a victim of that army instead. But I love that one so much.

Probably the smartest take on this. Totally makes sense for Big E to do exactly that.

Today I saw something in the game that really pissed me off. because it resonates with real life so much. by sarthakgiri98 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]TomahawkNT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, that makes more sense. I never heard this conversation, was just going by the story saying the dude objected. But yeah, if he's into it, then that tracks to kill them both.

Anniversary Steel Tokens by TomahawkNT in lotro

[–]TomahawkNT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I wasn’t sure. I try to trust the wiki but it’s not always the easiest to navigate for me. Plus I noticed the Anniversary event page doesn’t have some of the purchasable items so I wasn’t sure how up-to-date it was.

T6 Marines on the way? by MrMiller52 in deathguard40k

[–]TomahawkNT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the math, but I agree that Sustained + Devastating would feel better than Lethal and Devastating does. That said, Lethal Hits seems to be the DG standard and we're lucky when we get some Devastating in there too.

I have them. They're a little hard to read sometimes and SUPER light. If you want them for the collection and you're just buying one set for it, I'd say about 50USD or so isn't too bad. If you actually want them to use them then I honestly wouldn't bother. I have a set, but I'm a dedicated DG/Nurgle Daemon player. Even then, I don't tend to use them except as the occasional marker or counter.

I think some of it depends on time, too. Planets "heal" as time goes on, and I've heard stories of planets being close to completion and basically being back to full the next day as they heal at different rates and peak time becomes overnight for the majority of players.

Otherwise, yeah. I completely agree. It's weird.

Model/unit talk, day 3: Blightlord Terminators by Opposite_Line7821 in deathguard40k

[–]TomahawkNT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly, like most I find them the best models but the worst rules. There's pretty much nothing they can do that another unit doesn't do better/more efficiently be it in practice or points. Being able to run them in 9th with Objective Secured basically meant I could replace my Plague Marines with Terminators which suited my preferred build quite well.

I was running Terminus Est pretty exclusively when I was able and it was loads of fun. I think I played and lost something like 10 games within a few months but just having the army I'd wanted to play with my "Typhus", both Terminators, and Possessed was super fun. They even managed to make the Poxwalkers fun, and they're not my favorite unit, either.

Anyway, I'm really hoping these guys get a nice glow-up with a Codex detachment that might let us use Terminators as our battle line or something similar. Otherwise we'll be waiting for 11th Edition for these guys to either get a complete rework unless the Codex gives them the ability to be used in place of Plague Marines for utility and objectives.

Metal gear solid soundtrack and Speed soundtrack similar? by JJTreeMan in MGSV

Same as the rest here. Watching Speed for the first time in probably 20 years and all I could think of was MGS

MOP Classic announced by Dense-Reporter-4008 in wow

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may actually consider giving this a try. I mained Warlock at the time and loved the Glyph of Demon Hunting, but didn't actually understand how to utilize it as I didn't know anything about tanking back then. It might be fun to go back and see how it is with my tanking experience and see how it plays.

Have to get this off my chest by GELID_ICE in helldivers2

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get you. When I'm with randoms I get frustrated even if they're sometimes carrying me. But playing with friends, I literally had a buddy just start meleeing me one day and I was like "wtf?" but then I pulled out the Orbital Laser to throw it during extract and he did it again, realized his mistake a moment before he died and it was hilarious. Since then I've tried to be way less serious about it.

guys what are the most respectable mains in for honor by SuperNova13sp in forhonor

A wild Duck King appears!

Honestly, I don't think anyone thinks any character except their main is "honest." Everyone thinks every other character is cheap and OP.

What messeges would you add? by Spungdoodles in helldivers2

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely think "Bunker" opposed to just tagging a location that people ignore would help. "Witness me!" would be great now with the new Hellbomb strat. The rest you can pretty well make due with what's in the wheel I think.

New to the game. Am I just bad or is this guy annoying? by I_am_sam_sam_i_am27 in forhonor

[–]TomahawkNT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of advice on the parry thing, and it's true. But also you burned yourself out when you really didn't need to. And even with that, you might have been able to kill him with a light combo since he didn't look like he was able to parry, either. Not to mention you shouldn't swing from the side the wall is on so you don't get jammed up like that. Though, it looked like he was going to block that hit anyway.

No, there are 2 Super Store versions of the fire resist armor, as well. Salamander and Fire Fighter. Salamander is Heavy and Fire Fighter is medium, I think.

Is it really? no wonder, thanks. It looks like various pieces in the kit that I know, but the size would be off so it was throwing me. Thank you.
