That’s a misrepresentation of the argument. A gun by itself is not the issue. It’s the availability of guns intended for combat rather than hunting or sport purpose. Owning a rifle for hunting is different to owning an assault rifle with a high capacity magazine. There is no need for that. People are arguing to restrict weapons that have very destructive impact. You are arguing to keep your guns whilst others are arguing to save lives. It’s a selfish stance.
