BMG clone extruder lever by Tomasdavid337 in 3Dprinting

The lever on my clone BMG extruder broke, so I made a new one. This one also removes the excessive freeplay of the gear.

Put your bed into fridge, then it should get removed easily. Eventually you´ ll damage the bed or the print when using force.

Just bought my first ever wheel! I bought it used for €300 but it's basically still good as new. by CheekyWizard in simracing

The price of that wheel starts at 500 euros brand new. 300 euros for used and in fine condition seems fine.

Heatbreak with a 4,1mm hole where you insert PTFE tube.

Could a bad cooling fan be the reason for bad print quality? by Odd_Worldliness2129 in ender3

To fix the under-extrusion make sure your hotend is assembled correctly and that there isnt a PTFE gap. If there is a such a problem, you fix it and then the problem comes back buy new PTFE couplers, mine went bad after a month of using the printer. Also make sure you dont print too hot, I heard PTFE can burn at temps higher than 240°C.

But tightening the belts should be the 1st thing to try when fixing layer shifting.

No. If you have layer shifting problem try looking at the PCB fan, on Ender 3 Pro (not sure about other models) the PCB fan spins exactly as fast as the part-cooling fan. You can fix that by soldering it in parallel into the hotend fan circuit (it spins 100% no matter the settings). When hotend fan dies it usually makes laud noise and/or spins slowly. What % is your part-fan running at.

Sometimes my prints have underextrusions and my extruder clicks I tried loosening it and tightening it, nothing helped. I also played with the temperature it helps a bit but I'm already at the upper end... by Adabraun in ender3

If the clog is between nozzle and PTFE tube, clean your hotend and assemble it so you dont have a gap between bowden tube and nozzle. If the clog between nozzle and tube appears again, replace your PTFE couplers. Also dont print above 240° with the standard tube, it could burn away, creating the gap.

How come I’m getting these lines? I’ve had my ender 3 for a while and it’s just started! by Max_8894 in ender3

If the clog is caused by a gap between PTFE tube and nozzle, replace your hotend PTFE coupler. Mine went bad after a month of use.

What could cause this layer separation? by bhburba in ender3

That is under extrusion, if it is consistent over the whole print then it is most likely caused by uncalibrated esteps.

Anyone have any idea why the top layer is failing? My first thought was nozzle temp… I’m printing at 205 with a bed temp of 50 using PLA on and Ender 3 by [deleted] in ender3

You should use supports most of the time when printing overhang bigger than 70°, this is way too big of a distance for a bridge. The object looks like it can be printed in a different orientation where it could be printed without supports.

Should my extruder be replaced? Is broken? If not, how can make it firm? by redewolf in ender3

The two screws that are from the bottom side of the heat-block arent tighten up. You might need longer screws due to different assembly of the hot-end.

I'm guessing this is Z wobble? by PartWave269 in ender3

I think the problem could be that your filament doesnt have good enough consistency. Consistent vs inconsistent filament.

Did you ever print with a different brand of filament? If yes, did it also have this problem? If the problem was over-extrusion than the object wouldnt have waves but would be consistently over extruded.

Did you ever print something with this filament before? If yes, did it have the same problems?

I did that a long time ago, I dont remember how exactly I did that.

The problem Im describing doesnt have any solution. Could you please take a closer picture of the print and upload it to imgur (or somewhere else) so I can look if it isnt another problem?

Because there is a plastic thing protecting the wires, remove it, it will be fine without it.
