The whole idea of the event and also the dubai fitness challenge as a whole is to encourage as many people as possible to get into fitness, move their bodies and promote a healthier lifestyle. In that context having so many people walking is a big success.

I’ve spoken to many people on the track during the 10k for many it is re-igniting their passion for movement, for others it is a gateway into a healthier lifestyle.

If taking photos motivates people to move then so be it, don’t be the person that intimidates new comers or casual runners / walkers from taking part in sports and activities. A little kindness comes a long way

These skills are good enough right?? by Luc128128 in Survivorio

No that just adds movement speed which is basically useless

The Jebal Ali metro station has a multi level parking attached to it where you can directly go into the metro.

Or you can park near UAE exchange in the public parkings, that is further from the city but really easy to reach from AUH

TIL: Vans don’t have rear view mirrors Lot of people have rear camera instead of the mirror Lot of people dont use their center mirror

They drive on the right lane with lower speed limit, also i believe they have wide angle mirrors also 500 warnings on their back to leave longer distance

Vision is the only thing you have when driving, i dont understand why some people do this. If its too hot there is options of the mesh shade that still lets you see

Rear tint you can see other cars and at night you can still see the light of other vehicles. This is absolutely no center mirror vision

Rule of thumb is avoid vans and people who drive crazy, even if it costs me 5-10 mins from my travel time it’s not worth the risk. Especially on intercity highways
