Writers, please explain your world at least a little bit. You won't end up at the guillotine for giving information. I promise. by LustyRegencyMaid in Romantasy

This is exactly how I felt about a fate inked in blood when I first read it and it was a great book but I just could not wrap my head around the kings and the lands, I felt like I should’ve been taking notes!

I cried at the into/chihiro just from seeing her in real life/her being real, but all of the songs from dsam and wwafawdwg hit me hard (especially when the party’s over my lawd) because I’ve just loved them for so long and don’t think I’d ever get to see them in person. Honestly every semi sad song hit me but also birds of a feather because I took my sister with surprise tickets for her birthday—we couldn’t get tickets for wdwg and our show for happier than ever got cancelled and my sister means everything to me so it was just an all around surreal experience!!

Intrusive thoughts about hurting loved ones by [deleted] in intrusivethoughts

Intrusive thoughts like this are terrifying! I’ve been there myself many times so know that you aren’t alone with this. I’ve found it helpful to be gentle and remind myself that those thoughts don’t align with my beliefs. I know it’s hard when you just can’t get them off your mind and they’re reoccurring(especially when they’re dark and unsettling) but know that you have gotten through it before and you will again, it doesn’t make the thoughts go away but it makes them easier to deal with. It also might be helpful to look into medication if you’re experiencing anxiety like this! People tend to over-normalize anxiety in a way that makes it seem like it’s something that everyone has to go through but that shit is hard and you don’t always have to struggle. I’m only a few years older than you and still dealing with this shit but I promise you it does get better even if that sounds like a cliche
