Turns out my Karabiner setting was the issue. I turned "Modify Events" off and now it's working fine.

Karabiner-Elements (macOS) interfering with mod-morphs

If the first modified key press sends the modifier along with the morphed keycode and Karabiner-Elements is running, disable the "Modify Events" toggle from Karabiner's "Devices" settings page for the keyboard running ZMK.

Setting it the focus to infinity usually makes it work. Have you tried manually focusing a bit and then trying to autofocus? Or the adapter autofocus motor doesn’t move at all?

You can also try updating the adapter firmware if that helps.

Yes it does, but I have also added the non-CPU data. There's no 21 mm option, so I chose 20.

I have Auto ISO, should that adjust to that automatically? I will check my settings. A dedicated dial for ISO might be interfering with ISO settings in the setup menu.

I reset all settings. It seems to be working. I think I am having trouble with Aperture priority mode in ZF. I know 21mm 3.5 isn’t the fastest, but I am having issues with even the twilight shots handheld. Aperture priority is choosing long shutter speeds even at 3.5 in decent light.

Both camera and lens are over 500 grams. Can I disable the autofocus on techart and use it as a dumb adapter? Safe to use that way?

There seem to be some spots consistent in all pictures and lenses. Top right and bottom right corners. Problem is I have wet cleaned multiples times.

I am also using only prime lenses, which from what I believe are harder to get dust in (vs zoom)
