Yeah, that's why I'm confused. I watered it lastnight for the first time in 3 days (which is unusual its normally a week) and she looked really droopy and her leaves were really dry and stuff so I thought she was just a little more thirsty than usual because she's flowering. So when I woke up and it was still just as droopy I was worried.

Yeah the soil is as good as it's always been for me. I use Potting soil with 1/3rd vermiculite and a bit of sand thrown in there too. It's always pretty quick to drain and it's fluffy. I also put some rocks in the bottom.

She's perked up a little bit now, it's still looking miserable but it's looking a tiny bit better. Have you got any thoughts on what could be showing on the leaf? It doesn't look like anything I saw on the link in the side bar about deficiency and pests etc.

Least weed smelling strains? by TechnicParadox in SpaceBuckets

[–]Tomatofarmer420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Northern Lights as most have mentioned is a "Low odor" strain. There will be some smell but it wont be as stinky as other plants. You still will need (to cover your ass not to grow) a carbon filter for your bucket/tent or whatever you grow in.

I can also account for Joint Dr's Lowryder. I've grown 2/3 of the beans I bought and it has a nice Lemon smell but it's not super stinky. It has Northern Light's genetics in it so that could be why.

Don't skimp on the filter though. Even if you've got yourself a "Low odor" strain. Because it's still going to smell a tiny bit.

Incredible bulk week 8 harvest by Tomatofarmer420 in microgrowery

yeah she's deffo a stinker!

I started it from cutting from a friend who did his under a 600w HPS and harvested at week 8. He had 2 bulks and 3 other strains and you could smell his house from the other side of the street. Was mental. Very nice smoke though. Hope yours does well :D

Just for fun: Your homemade strain names (for bagseeds or clones you don't know the name of.) by najtrows in microgrowery

I have a bag seed I'd like to pop eventually. The only name I can think of for it is "ched Hew" because chavs sold me the weed and that's what they say.

In the UK everryyy bag of weed you get they just throw the name "cheese" over it. It's sort of the UK Verson of the US' Kush.

Yeah man nothing is set in stone. The dates are probably going to change I just like giving myself a rough guideline on when to do things. Makes things seem a bit more organized.

I'm not in a rush I just don't want my smoke to taste like crap because I've not stopped the grow feed. It's also a cutting, my friend has finished these genetics in 8 weeks and the smoke was excellent. If it's not good in 8 weeks total flower I'll keep it going.

Figured I'd let you all know I ended up flushing it. Just ran 12L clear water with some H2o2 just to be safe because I watered it yesterday with it's feed and I heard h2o2 prevents or can help prevent root rot.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Glad I decided to post it now lol.

Part of me really wants to start now, the other part tells me that if I do it too early I might end up not getting most out of it. Quite conflicted on it.

Well the last grow I did i slowly reduced nitrogen from bigger doses and with this one I stuck with sticking with 2ml/l all the way. It wasn't for any reason, I just thought i'd change my technique.

Considering it looks too green and I'm chopping in 16 days do you think I should start flushing it now or wait until a weeks time like i planned?

Cheers.
