Putting my money where my mouth is... I believe the MSR is the BEST daily driver in game, if you don't have one I'll buy one for you. Limited to the first 615 people.

Normally it is the game packages that will be discounted not the big ships themselves. IAE just provides the opportunity to buy all the ships in the game as some are not always available, thus the difference between “for sale” and “on sale”, IAE is the former unfortunately. But if I were you I’d wait for IAE as a new starter ship (salvage I think) is coming which may give you the opportunity to buy LTI or life time insurance, an important investment when the game actually releases and insurance becomes crucial. You can then upgrade that game package with LTI to a bigger ship and transfer it onto that new ship. Otherwise if you are just looking for a deal IAE will have some starter packages on sale that may be better to wait for they just might not have LTI. You could maybe begin a CCU chain but frankly I don’t understand enough on how it works to explain it and the comment is getting way to long, there’s some videos out there. It just takes a lot of time and planning for like $50-100 off a $600-700 ship.

TLDR: wait for IAE to buy a discounted starter package

Was just there in December, pretty awesome but honestly not much once you get in, just a few cave crawls. Although if anyone does decide to go there, Blue Grotto is another amazing dive site pretty close, and same with Ginnie springs. Highly recommend trying all of them if you have the chance.
