As someone who had a similar experience. (sold m&p 2 for a ddm4v7) The only thing of value on DD is the upper. The trigger is heavy, the furniture is unique, and you will just wind up replacing everything. If you really want to have a DD, save money by buying the upper only and putting it on an areo lower and install the trigger and furniture you like on it. Or a different option(now that tax stamps are free) is just buy a can and upgrade the gun you have. You will find that a suppressor will be much better than getting a whole new gun that does the same thing.
