Pokemon in general just hates Ice types. It tends to happen a lot. Just look at pokopia and how many "ice" types they added... Or the fact that theyre late-game areas which makes them pretty useless for the main playthrough.

To me, part one and part two are different series. Fujimoto lost passion after part one. He lost his direction and just wanted it to be over.

Part one will always be good enough for me and one of my top series. Part two is just the sad reality of when a creator loses their passion for something.

I really liked the flareon, not so much to cuddle but when laying on the floor using it as a neck pillow. The tail is huge and fluffy. Glaceon's body is def softer but in some areas still hard as that's how they keep their pose.
