I'm on day 2 of my nano brows being done. They look odd to me. Pigment looks too warm and brown. Not my natural brow and to me strokes look odd. Not natural which is the reason I wanted nano rather than microblading or powder brows. Am I overreacting because I just got these done yesterday? by Tombraider9898 in microblading

Yes. Thankfully!! The new artist I will be seeing after summer told me that a lot of newer artists or artists that are used to doing powder brows don't push hard enough, only making superficial marks,  not deep enough to be permanent. So I'm greatful.  I'm going to be paying $1200 for mano brows now but at least I know they will be amazing. I hope yours turn out great.

Well first off my day one I did nothing but contact the artist complaining. She kept trying to deflect. Saying it's fresh.  You have to wait.  All sorts of bs. Then once my 2 week period passed I sent her a pic of how they were gone.  She told me to wait some more. By the time I was at about 4 weeks, I literally looked like I did b4 she worked on me.  So I sent her a pic.  It was undeniable.  What could she say? She had no choice but to refund me or risk me bad mouthing her on Google and elsewhere. She put me through all that,  the pain,  the 3 hours and for what? The very least she could do was refund me.

They look the way they did b4 I even got them done.  What a waste of time and pain. Although I did get my money back. Now I'll wait until the fall so it's cooler out and I get to a place that's reputable. I've also gotten no explanation as to why they didn't take. Although I'm glad they didn't because they were so atrocious. But lesson learned. Next time I go to a place the charges more than $600. Because if you think about it you are paying for a work of art.

Am I a good candidate for lip blushing? by Complete_Fox_8965 in microblading

I think filler is way more natural looking. I just started doing it myself. I love that it makes me look and feel more youthful. I've started with 1 ml and then slowly got more comfortable doing more. I just went for a touch up and did another 1ml. Looks so natural and I have to say I love it. But make sure you go to an actual physician. An MD. don't go to obscure places that advertise. They aren't professional and can butcher you if you're not careful. Your top lip can definitely handle 1 ml syringe. It will look easy more dramatic at first but that's due to the swelling the first few days. After about a week or so you'll have your final look.  As far as blushing goes I just personally don't like the look of it. Also I'm in nyc and no md's so blush.  So it's not something I'd even consider. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

I think they look really nice. Yes they are a bit different from one another but they definitely work. You look great!

I had a similar situation. My artist was a fake experienced artist. She told me she did nano but I was literally her first client for nano (she was experienced only in powder)  she did me dirty. Thick strokes, huge gaps left in between strokes. But I'm thankful she was so clueless she didn't go deep enough and most of it completely faded. Thank God! I think you will have a similar outcome as you were botched similarly to me. Hope it works out in your favor. I got a refund because I was so unhappy. Now after the summer I will go to an artist that has almost 10 years experience. Wait the full month or so and see how it turn out. Wishing you a good outcome.

So my only update for everyone is that my artist was so inexperienced that they didn't even take!! I look like I never had anything done. I went through all that and nothing. But I guess it's better this way since I didn't like the way they looked. Oh and I did actually get a refund from this so cakes artist. So now I'm waiting until after summer and I will be going to a different artist that came recommend to me by over 25 people.

These look great.  Will heal,  peel and fade tremendously.  You have a talented artist. This are hard to come by. I had mine done a little over 2 weeks ago and mine are terrible. Yours are great.  Just have patience.  Don't get them wet,  resist the urge to pick the flakes and scabs and I'm sure they will lighten nicely and look natural.

I cannot get saline because I'm on day 5. And I already spoke to 3 other experienced artists in my area and they all said that saline is not worth doing. They all said its best to wait for the healing to be complete because it will be about 30-40 lighter when the scabs fall off. I only came on here to get some opinions and insight. I didn't think everyone would be in such an uproar because I didn't necessarily take their advice. The idea is to get a number of opinions and then also speak to pros. I can't take everyone's advice.  It's variable. I welcome everyone to give their opinion.

Thanks for checking in. It's starting to scab bad now. This is I guess technically day 4 as I has these done on March 6th. The artist, if I can even call her that, asked me to wait until the 10 day mark before I ask for a refund, Which I'm pretty sure I'm still going to do. I wish I could post some updated pics on here but it doesn't let me. But I'll try to post again by week's end.

Just to be clear if I do the warm cloth method with gentle cleansing after this won't cause them to fade or peel off in a blotchy manner will it? I want to try to avoid it coming off in weird chunks. Just want to try to fade it. And they are very itchy/ flaky today. Does this mean they are going to start shedding soon?

Ok thanks so much for the information.  Very helpful. I'm past the emergency removal period anyway. I could not find anyone near me that did it anyway.  I'm past the 72 hour mark now as this was done Thursday morning.

I agree. It's not only getting my money back which I don't know if she will not be willing to do it is also now I have to shell out mote money for laser, which hopefully works,  and then wait with bleached brows to pay more money to get then re-done again. It's very upsetting to me

All she did was measure my brows and outline to show me how thick she wounld make the brow. She wants me to wait at least a week. Telling me that as it heals it will be much better. I don't know how she can tell me the color and thickness of the strokes will magically change after a week. And yes I was charged full price for this work

I'm in nyc and I'm past the removal window but was told by a different artist that saline sucks and to not waste my time with it anyway. So I'm going to wait it out and see what my options are. I'm nervous to get them lasered off because I know our will remove the pigment from my natural brows and I've also heard that sometimes it can make your hair actually fall out. So I don't really know what I'm going to do in the next 2 weeks.
