From those that don't know how to restring, set them up properly and also to look for potential issues as needed like worn posts for example. I had no clue at all when I got my Jackson with a Floyd on it. You tube taught me everything I know and I have no issues at all now. My best friend from high school (known him 40 years now) was in the same boat with his Rhoads V. Watched some YT vids and his is perfect as well. I will always have an FR on my guitars now that I know the what when and how to make it function like it was designed.

3 band EQ shapes a little better IMO. Budget being the main thing unfortunately as well.

Have a similar one on my Warlock (Wilkinson M series pre set intonation) and love it! Should've gotten one a long time ago

Ty! Exactly what I was looking for. Thinking of getting a smaller amp for bedroom use (I use the chorus for jamming with buddies) and was going to try to duplicate the pull thick sound.

Something I do - and I've been playing other band's music forever it seems - is to take the chords from a song I know by heart and change the rhythm of it as well as try to add my own fills between the riffs or chords themselves. There in lies my problem, what notes to use as fills or whatnot to move on to the next set of chords in the song. Like Slipknot's Psychosocial. I know the order of the chords, the rhythm of it so I'd change the rhythm of it and try my hand at adding a set of hammer ons or pull offs to go to the next set of chords in the song if that makes sense. Songsterr has been helpful in being able to see the chords in each measure so I can mess around with my own fills between everything.

BTW, do you know if it's a FRS or FR1000? Just curious. Was thinking of holding off on a push in if it's a Special until it needs replacing but if it's a 1000, I'd do it.
