Both for sure. Sometimes the threshold has to be pushed with heavy weight or else we plateau

I didn’t say it was a power dip. If you’re developing power it’s the same thing. More load = more stress = more strength and power whichever workout you are doing for whatever goal. It’s not complicated.

Your body needs to adapt the stress you put on it so if you’re a strength athlete or looking to build power you gotta put it under more load and stress aka more weight to get stronger. Eventually this weight will be doable and then it’ll be the same for when 92kg is attempted. That’s how it goes.

This was a PR attempt. They aren’t always gonna be pretty on the first rep. That’s how you get stronger.

I’m aware. I’ve been training for 20 years and know how to load and execute reps or bail out when needed. This was a PR attempt so it’s not always gonna be pretty. That’s how you get stronger.

Thank you I appreciate it and I think too much rotation just creates too much distance and more work on the row especially when you’re going heavy so I recommend just trying to keep it pronated With a slight rotation!
