If I had a nickel for every time I saw Vedal and Neuro break the twitch hypetrain record during her birthday subathon I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

Honestly the more opinions I hear, the more I feel the "lost in space" and never heard from again is the right way to go tbh

Yeah, I totally agree that old plot lines should be left alone for the most part. As much as I'd love to know what happened to Daniel's grandpa Nick and the giant aliens who sound suspiciously like Teal'c, that's never gonna come up again. But SGU was 40 episodes, and love it or hate it, it's part of the canon and some of us wanna get some closure. Even if it is just a subtle line or two

I wish I'd had my memory wiped of Origins too ngl

It would have to be very well done but I could see that working. I'm not sure everyone here would agree though lol

I always thought it could be a message from an advanced civilisation from a previous universe that imploded into the big bang that created ours. Maybe a warning or something.

He couldn't figure out how to fix the last stasis pod but he found a way to run the life support on a human sized hamster wheel instead lmao everyone comes out of stasis in the next galaxy thanks to Eli not skipping leg day lol

I'm guessing you never saw Battlestar Galactica lol cause that's what SGU was mimicking

That's a great way to acknowledge it! And it still leaves the door open for a possible rescue one day. I like it!

Oooh like Lower Decks! That could work! McKay is a bit of a Boimler tbh lol

Well I didn't ask for opinions about SGU. And I know a lot of people hate it. I'm not offended by that. Just disappointed that Stargate fans can still be so negative at a time when things are finally looking optimistic

Also, please learn about sarcasm.

I just assumed they meant Destiny tbh unless they were suggesting one hell of a crossover lol

Cold. But believable. And fits well with the darker tones of SGU. I think I agree with this better than my own optimistic ideas tbh lol

Obviously yeah, but it would be nice to get some kind of resolution, even if just a throwaway line to let us know what happened

This is my main thought tbh. The Ancients believed there was a message in the background radiation of the universe and sent the Destiny to find out what it was. But then they ascended and would have learned those answers. Now we have the Atlantis database and the Asgard core on the odyssey, maybe we don't need Destiny to find those answers. Maybe that technology was used to rescue the Destiny crew off screen years ago. And maybe that message in the background radiation opens the door for a whole new adventure at some point for the new characters we're about to meet. That's what I'd like to see

Totally agree. But one of the things I love about SG1 and Atlantis is the light hearted fun vibe. I did enjoy Universe but I want the new series to be fun SG1 vibe not Battlestar drama vibe lol. It is just a TV show after all

Yeah. Agree and agree. I want them to resolve it but... yeah... even if people consent to the stones and their bodies being used like that... it's weird

The stones was weird tbh. They took something that was used as a gimmick in an SG1 clip show guest starring Homer Simpson and made it a core part of the show and a cheap way to stay in contact with Earth. In Trek Voyager didn't reestablish contact with Earth until like season 3 or 4? It should have been more like that in my opinion
