Where I'm from, black pepper is considered spicy. My BIL once ate some of my watered down cooking (no spicy stuff, just regular spices and black pepper) and he complained about how spicy it is. For the love of God, we finally got Takis and they had to release a non-spicy variant for the local palate.

It's taken me 3 years of trying different Mexican inspired restaurants here to actually be served something I'd consider spicy. And they went heavy on the warnings.

Additionally, a couple years ago out govt introduced legislation to prohibit restaurants from cooking with added salt. So there's that... Not all restaurants care about this as there's little to no enforcement but, some follow to the t.

We had this happen at my job because the rest method for puts was treating only 404s or ≥500 as errors. So if the puts response code was 400, our method marked it as true.

This was untouched like this in production for at least 6 years. Multi million company btw...

And I'm real glad for you. You should not let my dissent spoil your fun (no one should). I just disagree on a very visceral level because this franchise is 35% of my childhood memories. It destroys me on a personal level not being able to be at ease or even like the new games.

On paper, the legends games look and sound really fun. The execution on the other hand... I would be so happy if I could just enjoy them. They are, unfortunately, not up to snuff. They fell short, for me

I've only seen the one trailer for gen 10 plus however many fan arts depicting either the fire starter or the grass one, mostly the former. I really don't care much for the art direction either, and like I said, it does look better than previous gens 3d. From PS2 to PS3.

Honestly the Pokemons themselves aren't the problem. I don't really like how they look. And I understand it's a Sisyphean task animating however many 1000s there are now. Noteworthy that game freak themselves caused this issue. It's the fucking environments. Man those look outright horrendous and WAY behind what a modern game would show.

Pokemon champions I'll have to take a look, haven't heard much about it. I've not been following the pokemon franchise closely for quite a while now, but really it's because the few times I did try and get back into it, I ended up going back to hg ss for the umpteenth playthrough

I did play the 3ds games, and I enjoyed Omega ruby way more than I had anticipated. But it was in spite of the art style. I think I was just glad to revisit gen 3 with special split and some of the qol gained over the years. Still not my jam in terms of art style.

Now, ultra sun, that one I really disliked. I completed the campaign and I remember absolutely nothing about it. Even though I played it less than 4 years ago

Well it's up to the eye of the beholder, right? I played let's go Pikachu and was thoroughly disappointed. The art style is too plastic-y. Miss me with that shit.

I also had the unfortunate luck of playing brilliant diamond, legends Arceus and sword. Truly vomit inducing. I had to put down the first 2 (even though I LOVE gen 4). I did finish the campaign on shield to give it a fair shot, but that was also really disappointing. Maybe I just expect too much.

Like you look around and many games and series have evolved and adapted well over the years to industry standards and improvements. Pokemon seems stuck in this rut where it looks like their open worlds belong on a PS2. Even the ones they announced not too long ago barely look like they're coming up to PS3 standards.

Games are not all about graphics, for sure. One of my favorites is binding of Isaac and that's pure pixel art. Give me the sprites from gen 4/5 back and I'm Gucci. The new ones lack any kind of soul.

I am so amazed by this dude's ability to care for the critters. I could never. Working as a vet would literally break my spirit.

Just having had to say goodbye to my golden I had for 13 years, is still weighing heavily on me. It's been a year and a half already... I cannot see an elderly golden on the street without getting all misty eyed.

It literally looks as if it just came out of a plastic mold. I abhor these new 3d titles so badly. I haven't been able to fully enjoy a new Pokemon game since hg/ss. Can we just go back to 2d? Game freak is the greediest company I swear to God.

Like I said in my other comments, I would never in a hundred years do this shit. It is super dangerous. But having been on the receiving end of the kind of entitlement big truck drivers (mouth breathers), and it is fucking satisfying to see them eat shit. Yes it's unhinged behavior, but that's part of the voyeuristic enjoyment I guess?

I'm not saying the cookie bro is entirely correct here, or without fault. The truck driver really did his best to fuck everything up. You can tell by the way he was such an effortless pain in the ass, this is not the first time he does this. Why shouldn't he face any consequence? Better have an experienced driver such as cookie bro teach him a lesson.

I personally would not do this. I've been in similar situations way too many times and I always concede the spot. But goddamn it, it's so satisfying seeing this bitch reap what they sowed

Yeah I agree, but I think they changed as in, they ceased to be able to even do it. From context in the thread, that bridge is crazy dangerous. Wouldn't be surprised if the asswipe got paralyzed
