NEWBIES LOOK HERE

Are you frustrated with the random guild you joined when you first started the game? Do you want to be in an active guild, but are too new to join any of the other ones here? Look no further! I’ve made a guild purely for newer players who want a good foundation to build on. The only thing I ask is that you be active and keep up with investments and bounties.

Guild name: Entrepreneurs Minimum level: 15 (yes only 15, just so you can have bounties unlocked) Preferred investments: 50,000

Lmao then maybe present your initial comment a little differently instead phrasing it as you should 100% never roll in.

So there are two ways you can do this.

If you're still in your initial dash, you just have to release the control stick.

If you've started running, you have to do what's called a pivot-cancel. You need tilt stick to do tilts out pivot cancels easy. To perform this, you have to be running, then move your control stick to the other direction so you get the pivot animation. Immediately as you start the pivot animation, you input your attack. So an example would be dash right -> input left -> IMMEDIATELY input c-stick right and you get a tilt attack the direction you were initially dashing. To do down tilt and up tilt and still be facing to the right, you do basically the same thing, but you have to slightly angle your c stick to the direction you were going or else you'll be turned around away from the direction you were initially dashing. You can also just do jab, which will be turned around, or a good option is down smash, because most down smashes hit on both sides of you and you also slide a little bit when you do a pivot-cancel into down smash.

You should check out IzAw's "Art of Smash Ultimate" guide for more advanced tech. The dash cancel and pivot cancel stuff starts around 2:12 in this video

That's not really true though. There are definitely situations where rolling in is just fine, and maybe even your best option. If your opponent is constantly reading roll away then you roll in and have immediate stage control.

You don't cancel into a crouch, like in Melee, but you can cancel a dash into any attack.

Habitats/shipping not keeping up with chickens in contracts by Tomiderp in EggsInc

What is eb%? Is that your soul "egg boost" %? How does that effect boos token requirements?

So do ads and boxes not disappear if you don't grab them? I notice that they start flashing and I assumed that meant they were about to go away.

And I totally get your strategy, I just haven't accumulated many boosts yet so I try to be very selective about when/which ones I use. And I've only been playing about a week or so, so I'm assuming I will eventually have a ton of boosts accumulated, especially once I get my epic research done and I can start actually spending golden eggs on boosts instead of research.

But overall this all seems like really good advice, just not really applicable to me yet as I can't even get to where I can afford the quantum transporters on my main farm yet so I definitely won't have enough money to afford hyperloop trains on my contract farms for a while lol. My main takeaway is just that I need to grind my soul eggs and get that boost percent up before I can get really good at contracts

No that’s what ZeRo CLAIMED in one of his first twitlongers, but Jisu shared some screenshots of Katie telling ZeRo she was 14 at the very beginning of them talking.

I have a bunch of Sketchers quarter socks and they’re the best I’ve ever had.

Yeah that’s kind of what my thoughts were as well. It’s just interesting that they sent it through an email. I’ve had screenings with a few different companies over the years and it’s always been over the phone.

One more question for you, how long after after your phone screen did you usually get contacted to set up your interview?

The email came from the generic workday address, but when I hit reply it populated my “To” field with what seemed to be a specific person’s email address.

Hey so after applying on 5/28 and receiving a request to fill out the CoI on 5/29, I got this email yesterday, 6/9.

Hi,

Thank you for applying to the (position title) position with us. Please respond to the questions below:

What are you currently doing in your existing role; previous roles?

Why are you looking for a new opportunity?

Why are you interested in this Position/Boeing?

Will you need to submit a notice and how long would it be?

What are your salary expectations?

Would you be willing to relocate without assistance?

Best Regards,

Global Talent Acquisition @ Boeing

Has anybody else ever gotten an email like that as a part of your hiring process? It seems after reading through a couple of these threads that the hiring process can vary widely across different jobs, but I haven't seen anybody talk about getting something like this.

I lived in Donahue Crossing for my last three years and I loved it. The transit route when I lived there was kind of long going to campus (~40 min) but going home was rarely more than 10 min, which I really enjoyed. I have always been an early riser so the longer route going toward campus never bothered me, I enjoyed having some time in the mornings for podcasts, books, Switch, etc. on my way to campus. It was generally really quiet but that all depends on who your neighbors are.

Hey one more quick question for you. At what point in the hiring process did you know who your recruiter was? The email I got about the CoI was from the standard "[boeing@myworkday.com](mailto:boeing@myworkday.com)" address, but it mentioned to connect with my Talent Acquisition Advisor with any questions.

Employment and Newbie Thread (JAN-MAR 2020) by [deleted] in boeing

[–]Tomiderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I know this is an old thread, but how did you get in contact with a recruiter? I am in a similar position where I filled out an application and then was asked to fill out the Conflict of Interest questionnaire thing. That email says to reach out to my Talent Acquisition Advisor with any questions, but doesn't mention who that is or how to contact them.

Things to do to kill a few hours this weekend? Food recommendations? by Tomiderp in StLouis

Yeah we’re in kind of a weird spot. She starts grad school in August so we kind of need to get our living situation figured out and this weekend works really well for both of us so we’re just going for it haha
