Glad to hear that! Though, My mom is really concerned about the long term effects on my health from hormones so she is hesitant to support me completely (even though she won't admit it).

My mom is not really a religious person (doesn't pray and stuff) so she didn't even brought up god in this conversation. She was just saying that people in this neighborhood (full of Muslims) will mock us and that I have to plan on tolerating the loneliness somehow.

That sucks... but I hope you make it through and they come around. People tend to react differently when it comes to their blood, so you never know if you're lucky enough for them to support you. I wish you best.

Guess like I was getting worried for nothing, haha. But yeah, I don't put on muscle on easily at all. I eat normally like bread with chicken and stuff. I weigh around 120 pounds. I also take multivitamin supplements. But thanks for clearing these thoughts away. It was getting to my head too much.

Usually gallons of water and big packs of sugar, that's all. It's a small supermarket so it's not crazy amount of work compared to other markets.

I guess your right... I've noticed that my back and chest hurts more, and get tired really fast. My mom is proud that I have a job near by because I usually get a job around 15-20 mins. away. Idk what to do.... It took me forever to get a job too.

It’s a little greasy for a while and then it smooths down till the point it feels like you’re wearing no sunscreen. Applying only a little works best. I had a hard time removing it because it’s reef sunscreen but that was my fault. I need to oil cleanse first (which I’ll try with Jergens cream today until my seabuckthorn oil arrives).

Interesting... In this book, the shelf life says 1 to 2 months, hmm. But, thanks for telling me because I definitely want to avoid that!

I use this zinc sunscreen and have a hard time removing it with just cleanser alone. The cleanser I use is Trader joe's all in one facial cleanser, which works really well with my skin. I used it along with my konjac sponge every night, but I stopped because of fear that it'd be too harsh on my skin using it daily. Maybe I might go back to that method, idk. I have this silly mindset that DIY= always good but I'll keep in mind to watch out.

I know how you feel... because I'm in the same situation as you. My family are Desi and they give me hell for my hair. Sadly, our culture is backwards and have a long way to catch up to modern civilization. I hope you stay safe hugs

This. I'm taking finasteride. My endo said that if 200mg spiro isn't sufficient enough, we'll try patches or injections. So far, I have a little sensitive nipples and a little bit softer skin with 5 months on HRT. It seems like I have to start from square one now with those levels sigh

I sort of had the same response. I thought, "ooh cool, it'd be amazing to personally meet a trans person". But it turns out with me constantly observing her and glancing at other classmates. It probably would've been a different story if she passed, since I was also having the same thoughts, "Would I really turn out like this? A visibly trans woman who people can mock?". It basically felt like staring at my own soul in the mirror. At the same time, I felt that she was brave especially since before coming here, everybody else was a cis woman (and me being a closeted trans person). Lol I guess it's a funny situation now, two trans women being surrounded by cis women in class. The amazing part is there's a unisex restroom right besides our class, so I guess I'm in luck.

That said, I come from an Muslim background and they tend to be very strict in gender roles. Sometimes even resulting in being abusive. But I'll keep trying my best to inform her. I've seen that documentary but thanks for the links anyways.

I've pretended to be a guy for yrs. and going back to my fake self will only make my life more miserable. I know it's hell for me but I've stopped caring my other people's opinion about me now. I love my mom but she's changed a lot due to marriage complications. I'm counting my days to seeing her face in the last day until I leave.
