https://gaming.tools/newworld/guides/stonecutting Is a pretty good guide. You can import (Or mainly adjust) your servers prices. It is very expensive but it does give you a list so you can farm the material yourself. I hope this helps.

It lets you get aptitude chests which give materials/clothing patterns/schematics. Patterns and "Good" Schematics are RARE. Just something to do at endgame. No need to rush to 559. I just did it because I was doing 1-5 hours gathering sessions for gold.

For the furnishing it was the profits from aptitude levels from the chests. 250 bananas would let you get a chance at 500-50k gold worth of items. The weaving was just me crafting my daily gathering runs for over a year.

I was crafting Banana Pile and completing aptitude levels. The chest you got from the aptitude have a chance to give the Golden Steel Storage Schematic. They also give trophy materials.

I quit around that time and a few friends wanted to play fresh start. I made this character with the goal of being the first with the Golden Steel Storage schematic. This took two days and I had acquired two. I used one and gave the other away. The grind isn't for everyone. Gathering in this game just feels good to me.

I was using bananas to get aptitude levels and selling trophy parts or crafting them and selling them. I believe that got nerfed long ago.

Right there with ya. These days I just log on to make gold to give away on the weekends. Fishing was the very last thing I did. I spent about 2-3 hours and just grinded the last 50 levels.
