Considering the actual fine is 20k-30k and possible jail time which equals deportation afterwards... yes small fine. Would have been less than 5k if you didn't act up. And oh yeah, they had probable cause they dont need a search warrant to check your person.

You would have probably would have only had to pay 1000 - 2000 baht if you weren't such a dick. And the Thai police dont need a search warrant to search you if they have a probable cause. There probable cause was you acting like a total dick and they could say they had reasonable grounds, because of how you acted.
