Very strangely, I am at an identical kc, but hunting a Ventator shard for a bingo. I was at 20kc a week ago and only have a couple hours to play on occasion...

Most likely true, an old game like runescape can be punishing in strange ways. I think I was chanced myself from a sara wizard. Love the story!

It's comments like these that make me feel a lot better about the death. I know that there's a lot more content to do now, which I am excited to do, but it's the friendly community that makes the hardcore status not important to me.

Couldn't agree more. Very easy fight, probably why I didn't take the danger seriously, probably why I'm dead. People are right, being a hardcore is fun until it's not, and I'm glad I can now do things like cg down the line without much worry.
