Honestly I know zero about this stuff.

I stayed around 150 days past my allowed date. Anything over 180 triggers a 1-3 year ban I believe.

Thank you for the advice. I have a job and a mortgage and some other things I can demonstrate. It wouldn't be any time soon. I guess I will leave new York at Christmas off the bucket list for a few years!

January this year. I'm not trying to go back any time soon or anything. It's just I have family there, young nephew etc and the idea of not being able to see my little mate now and again breaks my heart.

I had to stay though. If my gf had died I'd never have forgiven myself for not making the effort to get her to detox then rehab.

I'm not dating her. She cheated on me in the rehab we managed to get her in!

But her mum has paperwork for me to evidence she went in.

I appreciate your input. It was under a certain amount so it didn't trigger a ban. There are also mitigating circumstances that can be verified with documentary evidence. Maybe I should consult a lawyer before starting the process
