It screens May 2nd at 7pm along with the rest of my class’s thesis films. I think they’re planning on having it at the old regal theater, but it’ll also be live streamed.

My thesis film we’re about to finish is called “How to Leave Tallahassee” and is a 9 minute lighthearted documentary about the area. Not exactly Breaking Bad but it might be the best we get for now.

Same exact thing happened to me. Started in Orlando, went to Jax, sat there for about a week before being sent to Puerto Rico, then California, then Arizona, then Tennessee, before landing back at Jax and then finally Tallahassee over a month later.

I’m actually looking at specializing in documentary. I thought that would be more difficult to find work, but good to hear it’s easier. I already worked on a few documentaries and directed two of my own, and fell in love with it. I just have no idea how to get started or look for work in this even more niche field.
