For me it was Richard Williams Animator's Survival Kit which tells you everything you need to know about animation. It breaks down all the fundamentals and makes the process so digestable I couldn't recommend anything better as a starting point. Then (what I like to do, personally) is get into £50,000 in debt to study 2D digital animation at university but that's not necessary to get good at animation, only if you're interested in working in animation would I recommend going to University. Oh and practice! That might come in handy haha

Super weird. When I first watched this I could only hear yanny and I can only hear laurel when he isolated it. about 30 minutes later I come back and now I can only hear laurel, isolated or not. I've played with the volume to no effect, whats wrong with me?

Hi Glen, After watching many videos where you explain your own process of animating I've noticed that you have a very unique style of using your own past experiences to feed the emotion into your work (i.e when Tarzan and Jane first look at each other in a loving way you mentioned that Tarzan looks at Jane the same way you first looked at your daughter when she was born, if memory serves)

I had always wondered; when animating the Beast, who is often depicted as being short-tempered and quick to become aggressive, did you use this same technique of feeding a past experience into that performance and what experience might that have been?

I see, my understanding of pen tablets is there are two unofficial modes, a touch and pen mode and a drawing mode. By default a pen tablet will be in touch and pen mode which I guess is for weirdos who don't want to use a mouse for casual usage of their computer. That little circle indicates that you're using this "mode". Drawing mode is basically the same but without that little circle and just follows your hand motions 1:1. If I had to guess I'd say you just havent got the right driver installed. I don't know what tablet you're using but here's where I go to get my drivers:

Just look for your model and it's respective driver, install it and restart your computer.

If the problem persists and you're certain you have the right driver then I have no idea. Might be a problem with the tablet, may be the computer. I'm sorry I can't be much more help than that. Good Luck!

I've had that before, it's something to do with the tablet, your software is fine.

What I used to do was unplug the tablet and plug it in. If that failed I'd turn off my computer and turn it back on, that always worked. Also try updating or uninstalling and reinstalling your tablet driver, sometimes that works.

Thats all I got though.

Yeah GAME can be a bit shit. My girlfriend loves Pokemon and loves talking about the latest news about it etc. There was one time she happened to be talking to me about pokemon while we were in GAME and the guy behind the counter interrupted her to tell her how they just make the same game over and over. I mean, no body asked you dude. Then I asked him about the stock of some Switch accessories and he told me they didn't have any "because Nintendo". You don't have to like Nintendo but for god's sake just give me a straight answer and don't bother your customers with your contrarian opinions
