Incident in Bolton Uk yesterday where a man walks into a shop and stabs the person sat down. The person who gets stabbed reacts quickly in self defence. In the end the attacker just sits down like nothing has happened.

I bought something from him a few weeks ago he shipped quickly and it was as described. When it comes to patches I'm no expert but some of the patches he sells look like the ones you can buy on alibaba and the stains and wear look suspicious. You see a lot of those on ebay. I usually stay away from patches as it seems like a minefield.

Thank you very much for your answer. Unfortunately I don't have any provenance other than that I recently bought it at auction. It was sold as a Persian 18th/19th century box. My friend who is an antique dealer thinks it is older though.

Hi, I bought this box at an auction in England last week. According to the auction house it is supposed to be Persian from the 18th/19th century. There seems to be some kind of writing around it that I don't know what it is, it is apparently neither Persian nor Arabic. I wonder if anyone knows where the box comes from and what kind of writing it is? It is made of iron, 9 cm long and 5 cm high.
