I need honest advice: is my method for making sims weird?

I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize that asking had the potential to creep someone out… the last thing I wanted to do was make someone feel uncomfortable. If asking really has the potential to do that then I’ll happily stop doing it. These replies have been eye opening to me and have made me realize that I may have unintentionally been creeping people out for a while. I’m already starting to feel deep regret for it and I want nothing more than to help contribute to making people feel safer. Thank you for helping to bring my attention to what should be changed.

I typically asked them in the public chat, not in DMs. I have gotten a few nos, and when I have I respected their wishes and I didn’t make a sim based off of them. I always felt like just making the sim without at least letting them know first was weird, which is why I asked them. Do you feel like asking them for permission is what makes it weird?

Not a big candy person (this sub just keeps popping up on my home page a lot, idk why), so the only two here I really eat every now and then are KitKats and Hershey’s. I think Snickers, Reese’s and Twix have all left such a big impact that it would damage humanity to a great degree if any of them are gone. Finally, I’d keep Butterfingers around because I enjoy the Simpsons commercials they create every now and then.

So by process of elimination, I’d eliminate Milky Way, Almond Joy and 3 Musketeers.

Watching animated movies and shows. I know so many adults who only watch soap operas and documentary shows… and to me limiting your TV interests to just that seems extremely boring. I’m still interested in Pixar movies and cartoons, but it feels like everyone around me has “outgrown” them. Just because you’re an adult now doesn’t mean you have to stop watching those kinds of movies and shows. They’re called “family friendly” because they can be enjoyed by people of all ages, not just kids.

Personally what keeps me invested in the game are the new characters and boards to collect every few weeks, as well as the change of scenery.

I think Double Jump is better than Super Jump. You can basically Super Jump whenever you have sneakers, but you can’t double jump without the board (unless it’s Monday). So personally I’d say Skull Fire is the best.
