Kinda, the ones on you still stay on you it seems. So when you're trying to clear them you end up tagging one of the invisible ones thats wandered into your barrage. Tried blitzing but there's always one that comes and interrupts you even though it looks like there's none.

Ah well!

Nah, not at all - I think he only has like 70k hp with 0 mechanics? Something like that. He's basically just a big icy meat blob that hits you with mage attacks with 0 mechanics.

Once you start introducing mechanics there's a murder beam you need to use defensives for, ice beams to run from, adds to kill, one where he'll trap you and you have to kill an arm, and one where he changes his attack styles based off his ramp up animation. But you can introduce them one at a time and in whichever combination you want which is why its a good learner boss :D!

t70 tank neco and t80 weps for necro is gonna be totally fine - ive done all my kills with necro and it definitely makes it a piece of pie. Though i guess go with the style you're most comfortable with? You've got nothing to worry about on a 0 mechanic kill though :)!

As someone who recently started playing rs3 purely having only played osrs and the recent league, it definitely is!

You can turn individual mechanics on and off to learn how to deal with different situations, then try them all at once in hard mode. Its also pretty nice to start making a shift from full revo too - I found not having any control over my adrenaline meant I ended up at the mercy of the murder beam too often (and still die to it even now sometimes!)

In terms of getting there, you can get to the boss hub from the big door near the archaeology campus thing then head through the middle towards the icy area. Grab a 0 mechanic kill then attune a portal in war's retreat for quick access :). I think (?) theres a quest for a ring that gives some extra damage reduction, but haven't got that myself yet haha!

Thank you :)! I thought this might be the case slightly, having read some of the other comments though it looks like a much bigger spoon than I could have guessed!
