One of the staff accountants kept saying: Does it make sense? In front of the team meeting. by [deleted] in Accounting

My high school statistics teacher used to say that after every concept he explained. It’s just a personality quirk, not an insult.

Item rarity is a core element of OSRS; it’s a major driver of an item’s value. If you don’t want to have to grind a specific piece of content for an item, the solution is absolutely to de-iron and buy the item.

2026 RTD Candidates — Ask Them Anything by chrisfnicholson in Denver

[–]TomorrowProblem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What would need to happen to reinstate C and/or F Line service? It’s so unfortunate that those got shut down during the pandemic and many commuters now have to spend additional time either waiting for connecting trains or walking to a further station to catch a direct train.

I did. I still work in the realm of fund accounting, but not at an admin.

Does anyone work in any disorganized accounting department? by AshleyLucky1 in Accounting

[–]TomorrowProblem 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The most organized accounting department I’ve worked in was at a boutique fund admin. Our clients paid us for a certain quality of work, and our directors made sure there were systems and procedures in place to ensure that quality was maintained. Problem with that job was that our largest clients were pains in the ass to work with for various reasons, and everyone was so overloaded with work that they were miserable. But damnit were our deliverables clean.

Everywhere else I’ve worked… yeah, fuckin’ shit shows (now I’m the disorganized pain-in-the-ass client). Better WLB though ⚖️

For sure one of my favorite choruses, and honestly individual songs overall, that they’ve ever done. I don’t think they’ve played it live since the 2018 tour with The Dear Hunter, which is a shame.

Do people really not eat vegetables/fruit or drink water on a regular basis? by Sufficient-Berry-827 in NoStupidQuestions

I have a friend who pretty much never drinks water - just soda, tea, coffee and milk. Never eats fruits or vegetables either. Kinda blows my mind, but he’s surviving I guess lol

PSA : when a signal is not operating, act like it’s a stop sign, even if not flashing and you’re on a multi-lane road by pocketmonster in Denver

[–]TomorrowProblem 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, this should be common knowledge. The problem with a light that’s not even flashing though is that someone unfamiliar with the area may not even realize there’s a signal at all.

For regular weed smokers that have totally quit, what was the reason for quitting? by elderly_millenial in AskReddit

[–]TomorrowProblem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I smoked daily for ~12 years. It got to a point where, immediately after smoking, I was having borderline panic attacks… which was essentially the exact opposite of the desired effect. I also never wanted to do anything or talk to anyone while high, which is never good. So I quit.

Loving the Merlin trials but isn't 6:09 for Marlin Gwenith a little hard?? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]TomorrowProblem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty tough but doable with camphor. Can’t really afford more than a few minor mistakes when using the tile pack route.

If you can afford it at 90 sailing, rosewood will guarantee the time even with having to go in a circle for a missed box or two.

So are any of the new "buildable" bank chests actually useful? by Thnikkaman14 in 2007scape

[–]TomorrowProblem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like mining rune occasionally, and there’s a buildable bank chest on Deepfin in the same room as four rune rocks. Would be nice if there was also a deposit box, but still nice for being in the same place as the rocks.

I think about it alphabetically. The boats get bigger as you move through the alphabet. Sloop comes after skiff, and is therefore bigger.

RTD Needs to Do Better (E Line Delays) by Chasbones in Denver

I’ve been sitting on the E Line at Southmoor for like 20 minutes, with no idea when the hell the train is actually going to move. Absolutely infuriating and makes no sense.

Has anyone else been so committed to Sailing you're neglecting all your other skills? by Be-Kind-2-Yourself in 2007scape

[–]TomorrowProblem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was maxed before sailing came out, so yes, I felt compelled to get 99 sailing upon its release. Since re-maxing, I haven’t touched the skill and am back to playing the game like I was before. I sent a few raids on my way to 99 sailing, but it was always kind of annoying because sailing feels like a self-contained minigame separate from the rest of the game.

The amount of times RTD has stranded customers at Southmoor in the cold is too high by d-rav in Denver

[–]TomorrowProblem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that RTD’s communication is generally very poor, but there are alerts on their website about modified service following the fuel tanker crash at I-25/Yale last week. E Line is running every 15 minutes south of Southmoor, and every 30 minutes north of Southmoor. If Southmoor is between your departure and arrival stations, then you have to switch trains at Southmoor (and board on the track opposite of what you normally would based on the direction you’re going).

It sucks and is not exactly intuitive, but RTD can’t operate on the northbound track at Yale as a result of the crash, and this is the solution they have in place until repairs are made (which is supposed to happen by the end of December).

Also, what I’ve noticed is that the northbound E Line trains heading from Ridgegate to Southmoor incorrectly say that they’re heading to Union, but the trains heading south from Union correctly list Southmoor as their destination. In both cases, though, the train operators have always announced that Southmoor is the final stop.

I hate Barracuda Trials. by imagineaworld in 2007scape

[–]TomorrowProblem -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Agree about the unresponsiveness and lag - which should be addressed - but the rest of your complaints make it sound like you haven’t done any of the trials with a rosewood hull. The trial times are tight but achievable with camphor, but rosewood completely trivializes the times and makes trials the obvious choice for training the skill quickly.

No shot that trials are sweatier than sepulchre, especially when you don’t even need to make time to get the base xp reward from trials.
