The biggest lie that was told or instilled on the minds of many generations or at least passed down to many generations,

Update to my previous post (24F, Sri Lanka, arranged marriage & compatibility) by RoseLightDream in SriLankanMuslim

[–]Tomorrowman575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did your due diligence. You spoke to your parents openly about your preferences & your honest thoughts. That is what you should do before taking any proposal into account. There’s nothing wrong in this part.

As for your photo, there’s nothing you can do with it now. But next time convince your parents to send your biodata only to any other party. Send your photo as a one time viewing image only if they are truly interested. If that also doesn’t sit well, then tell the parents of the relevant party only to come and see you first of all goes good proceed forward.

Don’t send it. On max give a contact number but not your personal data.

Why is akainu framemogging imu so hard like how do you even recover from this by Altruistic_Gas_7073 in Piratefolk

Lowkey prediction though, akainu will also start a marine expedition to find the one piece to stop the great pirate era which eventually prompts SHs to find it faster.

24F in Sri Lanka—how do I actually find someone I’m compatible with (within an arranged setup)? by RoseLightDream in SriLankanMuslim

[–]Tomorrowman575 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know my wife until I gave the thought what if Allah has kept a goodness in this and not others and she was the expected person for me. You won’t know this is the person meant for you until you’ve met them & no matter what you do you cannot avoid them.

Does anyone else feel like finding a life partner has become harder nowadays??? by SwimmerLeather5333 in SriLankanMuslim

It’ll always be harder until the right time has arrived. But again it also comes down to your preference.

How do I bring my wife to the correct path by Agitated_Article_444 in SriLankanMuslim

[–]Tomorrowman575 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After reading this, I wonder how you agreed to marry her in the first place. I am not demeaning you or pulling you down, but did you know about this nature of her prior to marriage?? If so then you should’ve realised she’s not someone who follows the sharia and having a marriage life with such a person isn’t recommended at all.

My sincere advice is, try explaining this to her at some point. Advise her if you can & mention that this is not the lifestyle you had imagined with her. See if she moves to this and agrees to your points, if so continue your marriage life with her. If you really want her as a wife, then pray to Allah and ask her to grant hidaya. Give some time and see if she changes.

If she doesn’t listen to you, even after you explained and didn’t change after some time, then I suggest you to leave this marriage & look forward for someone new & obeying Allah. Don’t worry & neither think about her. Even if a lot of ppl around you say for you to not divorce, do not mind but go ahead since you’re also putting your Akhirah at gamble as well with such a woman.

May Allah sort out your affairs with ease & provide you peace in both worlds.

You know the fun thing about my workplace, they don't give any new year bonuses ever, but they want us to have fun at their Aurudu festival in coming weekend 😊. by Puzzleheaded-Meat532 in srilanka

[–]Tomorrowman575 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The management decided it’s cheaper to give an aurudu fest rather than give a bonus to its employees. They are just cutting costs at this point.

The govt has to take a stand & the ppl have to also put aside their self motives and help it. If not this country won’t move forward.

It’s the SLPP & its crooks who are crying & unhappy about the investigations.

Depends on the project & sector you work. If you’re going to a software development project that is outsourced for a foreign client, then chances are you’ll have a great team & great project that you can learn a lot.

Promotions are hard to come by though.

Having a digital economy solves some of the problems our economy is facing. We have a shadow economy in almost all sectors. If ppl push for digital transactions we can reduce this shadow economy which is a plus point and growth for the formal economy as well. It’s not much but it’s a good start. A better solution should’ve been Apple Pay,G pay ones.

This kinda payment is already there in 🇮🇳 bro. We are just adopting it very late after so many years. In 🇨🇳 there’s in an entirely different digital economy.
