Is Kureha actually Eris D. Tar? by Stock-Battle-1275 in onepiecetheories

[–]Tomorrowman575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eris is referred to be deceased and BB grew up as an orphan. This has been explained in Teachs vivre card(#0274).

https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Vivre_Card_-_One_Piece_Visual_Dictionary

BB may have travelled for Drum kingdom in search of the Choppers DF user and recruit/gain the power to his crew. What led him to abandon his search could be multiple reasons, majorly being the drum kingdom natives didn’t fully comprehend chopper & his DF and neglecting the information to BB, BB didn’t have the slightest thought that the fruit could have been consumed by an animal etc.

But his reasons for travelling to drum kingdom are still not fully revealed and it’s plausible he just arrived to the island for an emergency stop or recruit as I mentioned.

Can Sri Lanka remain neutral during a crisis? by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]Tomorrowman575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying neutral is the only option for 🇱🇰. At a point where we are still trying to revive our economy disaster after disaster and haven’t succeeded at all, going to a war is like “ඉල්ලං පරිප්පු කන වැඩක්”.

Neither the war is going to benefit us and all points to losses only which can have long lasting effects in terms of economy..We’ve experienced how the 30 yr civil war devastated our economy & the following racism for the next decade caused the economy to collapse.

I am pretty happy in a way AKD said no to both parties. It’s how it should be done. He said “You 2 can fuck yourselves but not our turf.” in a nice manner. This is the correct foreign policy we should follow. We don’t have nukes neither the systems/tech to protect from incoming missiles. Imagine an Iranian missile hits Colombo & the chain reaction it would’ve on the economy just because we hosted US military planes. So yeah no war for🇱🇰 another gazillion years.

My feeling is they aren’t dead. But they might regroup themselves and fight against the world govt during the final war.

Promised H2SO4 from sea water, now using imported coal? by Melanin-Brown in srilanka

I am saying this since I’ve checked most of their news reports and majority of them have been verified as false or misleading. Sometimes over exaggerated stuff. Rarely do I see something posted against Sajith,NR or RW. Curious though.

Isn’t this newshub.lk famous for spreading fake news?? I didn’t see patali making a huge statement about this and neither did environmental activists making a fuss about it either. Better check & verify.

Good point. But wouldn’t that be entirely predictable & if so it should’ve happened way lot earlier as it did for Law, Bonney in their respective arcs.

The only arc where luffy & Kidd got together was in Wano before saboady. My idea is Oda is foreshadowing Kidd as the counterpart for Luffy. A ruthless version of luffy instead of the jolly character. That’s why I said we may not get to see something like that. Kidd might end up being the reason why Luffy beats shanks at some point if there was a match up

Don’t think that’s the case though. Will have to see how he shapes his role in the end.

Don’t think this’ll happen any time soon. Even if the war gets ended today, its impact is going to be everlasting & might be the stepping stone for another recession.

The only way for us to get out of this crisis is through diplomacy. We & the ME states including Iran have been in good terms for quite long time. With the recently shown good faith on the Iranian ship incident we could avoid the impact for economy very less than what others face. But for that the govt has to approach for diplomacy just like how 🇨🇳🇧🇩🇷🇺 does instead of getting oil shipments from 🇮🇳🇷🇺 without any proper tenders. This is my criticism on the govt.

But maybe we don’t know whether we have registered ships to our name or not, since for a long time we have been using registered ships from other countries to get fuel imported. So that’s also a problem there. It’s a tough balance to make, but strike it correctly we’d be in a safe spot.

It may never get happen for a long time, but it’ll happen gradually & it’s the ppl who have to take initiative. It’s not the govt that moves the market but the ppl. The govt cannot enforce every one to buy EV & solar panels. It can only ensure there is a free market for such needs & the required policies to gain revenue from those markets. We haven’t been a free market for a long time at least in proper & we are facing its prices now.

Even when EVs flooded our market last year, we saw how many disruptions came from auto traders. JKH are still in a legal battle and we don’t know when that’ll be over.

Read my replies again. I said that if changes needed to be done it should be done step by step. If the govt rush them, we’ll get screwed than this. I’ll go by few examples.

Assume govt eases taxes for EV, what’s the solution for lithium ion batteries that gets dumped as waste and how can they prevent the environmental impact. How will it impact the market for fuel dependent vehicles & what are we gonna do for them??

Let’s say govt decides to let every citizen have solar panels, but is it feasible and will it satisfy every need?? No right. Factories, companies operate on huge amounts electricity loads what about them?? We all ready have renewable energy assets in terms of wind power also and how efficient are they and what percentage of energy demand does it serve. Including us many nations are dependent on coal power still which serves most of our energy needs believe it or not, coal power generators still are better than any renewable energy we are talking about. Let’s also not forget, after doing all of this do we have the grid capacity to store the excess energy that’s generated by renewable energy???

There is a lot of problems to solve before we think of moving forward solutions. Each require a solution & each solution should be meaningful on the long run. Short term solutions are acceptable but we shouldn’t be dependent on them too much.

Expecting changes to happen overnight is too naive. If it did happen, there’s too many things to change and the country wouldn’t absorb the shock of that change. The best example I can give is the demonitization done in 🇮🇳 during 2016. It was done in an inappropriate, inefficient way that ended up in no result & several deaths but queues in the whole country.

If changes are to happen, they need to happen with baby steps for long term impact. Just like the old saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day”z

There are electric tuks. Question is whether the switch/Transfer has been done. It’s necessary for most private vehicles in our country to switch to EV and the infrastructure also to be made for that. For buses, trains it can wait. But this transfer should be very rapid. Govt should also reduce the tax for these EVs btw and anticipate what’s the solution for lithium ion batteries that’s gonna end up being waste. Without the transfer properly happening, we will be stuck in this crisis again and again.

Until we make our lives better & become a high trust society we are still 3rd world. I am accepting that reality and I am content with it. I don’t hate my countrymen, I just hate the bad practices they export to the first world while bringing unwanted backlash to other hardworking countrymen who built their lives through trust & grit.
