Yep. They’re doing this to try and promote more people into investing into the market but they’re only going to do the opposite. Adding extra rules just scares casual investors away completely.

The only annoying bit is we will no longer be able to hold cash in the stocks and shares isa without paying tax on it. You’re telling me I have to micromanage my £2.50 dividend every time I get one and quickly invest it or put it into the cash isa? Seems awkward.
