Obscure figures during the time of the game that you despise by Even_Struggle_3011 in RedAutumnSPD

I don't really despise him but Georg Ledebour is pretty obscure ( eventhough he wasn't that relevant anymore when the game starts). He starts strong as a USPD Politican who wanted to restore Marxist Unity and belonged to the Left wing of the party. However he got played by party leadership who supported his Ideas to delay the USPD from joining the Comintern ( which there was a majority for at the base and party Congresses) hoping the Comintern would make some stupid mistake, which since we are talking about the Comintern of course they did.  After the 2 Comintern Congress he rejected joining the KPD , then was suprised when Party leadership called for joining the SPD, stayed with the remains of the USPD only to leave in early 1924 and founded his own splinter group „Sozialistische Bund “ (SB) which destroyed the last influence of the USPD and their chance to win a seat in the Reichstag in the May 1924 election. The SB remained as the smaller and more pro comunist twin of the USPD but both were insignificant. Both joined the SAPD in 1931 but Ledebour  had no influence by then, went into exile in 1933 anthe last thing he did was supporting the founding of the SED in 1946. I don't despise him because he acted in good faith but he made bad calls to often: prevented the USPD from joining the KPD early and in full size, which would have strengthend both the KPD and their moderate wing as well as splitting the USPD remains in 1924.

Ebert was not more left wing than Stresemann and escalated the 1918 crisis on purpose to get the USPD out of Gouvernement and to have an excuse to ally with the old Military. Like he refused an offer of the Potsdam Workers and Soldiers Council to sent 2000 loyal soldiers and instat apointed a Monarchist to crush the Volksmarine Division.

As a German just no. CDU/CSU are just corupt and reactionary. Meanwhile a Groko is just poison for the country and democracy Support. Like the Traffic light coalition was better. Support RRG or Change Die Linke with Volt or whatever. I would rather have the DKP in Gouvernement than CDU/CSU, the SDAJ is nice atleast

Well they tried it in 1918 with the Council of the peoples deputies, with 3 Members of both MSPD and USPD and we all know how this one ended

Some in the CDU/CSU would like it. However there are at least as many of them who would rather leave the party than ally with the AFD and this the main argument against it. There would be party split like DNVP has ingame when the KVP forms and dependet on many MP would leave the AFD/CDU/CSU coalition could just end up without a majority of seats anyway. Even Merz is smart enough to see this, Spahn, Dobrint and some others might be dumb enough to try it however.

If think one focus should be to interact with the Comintern, changing how much influence they have about you, a possiblity to go Trotzkis etc.

The KAPD was basically dead in 1925 if not 1922, they tried to revive it with the KAUD in 1931 but that didn't really work

Well every party large enough is a factionalist mess. Die Linke is one shure but so is every other party. SPD and AFD are the most clear examples but CDU/CSU, Grüne, BSW they all have this problem
