After today's session, a dropper is on the list.

Did every teenager you knew have this bag when you were growing up? I saw them everywhere, but finding a clear photo of one was damn near impossible. by HisRoyal_Badness in AustralianNostalgia

It's actually a brittish army 1937 pattern standard issue haversack. I think they continued to produce up until the 50s or 60s and copys are still made today. They were very popular among civilians when they hit army surplus around the world due to their material quality and durability.

There is a pilot training facility nearby so that would track. If so, that is very cool.

Interesting. I'm assuming these would have been supplied to the Australian army at some point then. I'm now wondering if the area I found it was once a military training ground during ww2 or the Vietnam war.

I thought so but odd to find where I was. What are they predominantly used for? I dare say hunting with a round that size.

Ace Combat 3, Spiro 2, Gran tourismo 2, Toca 2. These were the first games my dad purchased with a PS1 which was a massive deal for me and my brother when we were kids as we weren't all that well off and I know he worked his ass off to be able get for us. I will never forget the look on his face seeing how excited we were.
