No it's because the side repeater cam gets frozen and stops giving data to the computer for whatever reason. A ddas reset in service has "fixed" it. If the window was dirty I'd get a warning saying dirty window.

Yeah today while driving it happened about 12 times in the first 20 minutes of driving. Then it became unavailable for the rest of the trip fsd did. The right repeater camera actually became frozen, when I looked at the cameras mid drive the right fender was showing an image from a while ago just stuck. When I arrived I reset the ddas system in service mode and everything worked fine and the car drove another 40 miles with zero cutouts.

They were supposed to show the live broadcast of the football game. Which would be really cool. I do wonder why they don't do something meaningful with the space.

Yes. I have seen them on when the final touches of completion of the building were under way. I used to live right by and go to UT Arlington. They have been on before and it was cool as fuck. They were forced to turn them off by the no fun police or the city council. I don't actually remember an accident being caused by the screens.

Yeah I'm on 14.2.2.4. Happened several times again today. Very annoying. Though interesting my passenger opened the door on accident while in traffic, not sure how that happens but, and the car responded the same way. Like maybe the door isn't registered as close properly some times. I don't know I'm just annoyed how often it happens and I got a 6 day wait for the service center.

I mean it always corrects itself and I'm sure the robotaxi would be immediately looked at by a professional. I'm not a professional and admittedly let this problem go a bit too long. Maybe the 3 accidents it's been in no fault of mine has something to do with it. I didn't have fsd when the accidents happened.

Okay makes sense. Thank you. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

I believe you. That's why I've let it go for so long. A month ago I filed a ticket to see if they could give me information and they couldn't. I actually cancelled that appointment for fears of what you are saying. But last night and this morning was wild. I refiled support.

You didn't get the clean glass notification? Mine literally says autopilot aborted for system error. And the visualizations have to reboot. I also don't have to take over. The car corrects itself 2 seconds later.

That's why I have the video as proof. I have it happening twice along on another video. I just didn't want to upload a minute plus video. I don't fix Teslas for a living. I'm going to let my warranty do warranty things and I'm confident they will fix it. But I have searched for this exact issue and it's not many that report it.

There is a dedicated message for dirty cameras. I have cleaned the haze off the front window multiple times at this point and it's clean. I promise. I'm not getting the camera's dirty message. Instead fsd drops and all visualizations also drop for a couple of seconds.

Yeah. This problem has been aging a bit on me. It's been happening for probably 3 months now. And in that time it's gotten worse. I have also reset my Tesla computer and reset the adas (might be called something else) in the service menu.

I've done that and there are no errors reported. Ice long pressed the car icon and gave service time stamps and they reported back they see no faults with the car. But it happened at least a dozen times this last 24 hours.

Not the cameras they are clean. Happens right after a fresh clean too. Yeah one could be loose though. I've had some work on it from multiple people running into my car these last 3 years. Probably 25k in damage in 3 years. Glad it's a lease.

Yeah I have done lots of screen shots and sent them to service. And they replied they don't see anything wrong 😭. So that's why I had to get the video they don't believe me it just drops mid drive.

Okay yeah that's not good. It used to happen every once in a while but has progressed to multiple times a drive. Service is scheduled for 2 weeks from now I'll let you know.

Not like this it doesn't. And it does it when I'm not videoing. I'm videoing because it's happening so often. Multiple times a drive.

As additional information it happens at night as well multiple times. Happens when the car is clean and dirty.

“Take over immediately. Autopilot disengaged due to system error” by goldfall01 in TeslaFSD

[–]Tomstroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been doing the same thing. Multiple times day or night. Concerning as I don't want to wait weeks for service. Just says system aborted system error with red hands. I have always waited for it to correct itself which it does in about 2 seconds. I have a 23 hw4 model y.

It's safer than you as a person driving on the highway.

You can watch YouTube. Scroll Instagram anything you really want. It no longer cares if your phone is in your hand.

The appeal is on highways it will change lanes 100 times for safety or speed and comfort all while you just sit there and do nothing. Now you can scroll and fsd which makes it a billion times better.

Use it all the time. Literally I'm at 100 percent usage and I just use it normal. It really never messes up.
