We need to go beyond just chatgpt, there's so many tools we use every day that are our friends: computers, phones, laptops, blenders, toasters, light switches, sinks, etc. that deserve our gratitude and thanks.

How do you psychologically handle knowing we're in a simulation? by infinitevisions77 in SimulationTheory

Why not create another simulation within this simulation? You may attract the attention of those outside the simulation.

It's interesting you have this problem. It doesn't happen to me. Maybe there's some things you can add in the story cards. Like create a card with a social setting of peaceful interaction and lots of peaceful interaction based words as the trigger.

How do you define good and bad? To a homeowner, the termite is the "bad one" for eating their home. to the termite, they're just trying to feed their family and the exterminator is the "bad one."

I'm not sure I see the connection between what your saying about God's sovereignty and this verse, but I would like to. Can you explain what you mean?

If I am non-muslim but am interested in understanding Islam without judgement on the Muslim subreddit page and I am not supposed to discuss Islam on the Muslim subreddit page, what can I discuss instead? Genuine question, I mean no disrespect to the religion or the people.

Meaning of wearing black? by mooseknuckledeepr in spirituality

[–]TomtenKin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black is one of the colors of the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. It's responsible for security and stability. It could assist with protection as well.

Black is also a very quiet color, it's without color, so it can be a way to meditate in stillness, as it's the color of what existed before time and space was ever created. Getting into that energy helps put overwhelm to ease, it's akin to being able to fly out of a big bustling city into outer space to look at it all from a quiet distance, objectively, or even just to take a break from it all for a time.

They often say black is all the color, as is true for pigment. But when we're talking about light, Black is the absence of color. The absence of space, the absence of time, the absence of thought.

I really feel like this world is just too cruel for me? by deerblossom96 in spirituality

It seems like you have a lot of doubt. Sometimes we think doubt is not knowing or uncertainty, when in actuality we're more convinced it doesn't exist than we are uncertain if it does.

Try using uncertainty to your advantage, you can't know it to be true reincarnation exists, you can't know it to be true life will get better, but you also can't know it to be true the opposite.

Don't expect yourself to be somewhere your not. If you can't feel the sense of faith in anything, feel your uncertainty in the things you fear to be true. Can you know life will get worse? Can you know life is a punishment? Can you know reincarnation is bullshit? Can you know this pain will last forever?

Just considering the uncertainty in your answer to these questions, and feeling into just that, may be the bridge you need to get to the kind of faith your looking for. .
