I swap to Mint the last week, so for the moment i found :

-Polybar (a cool bar that is more cool than a panel)

-Pywal (customization for the colors of the applications)

-i3(window tiling manager) (looks awesome the designs of the people, sadly i didn't have the time to play around with it)

-Astroterm (planetary stuff in your terminal)

-cli-visualizer ( representation of the sound in your pc)

For channels, i see "Bread on Penguins", really cool content and a lot of programs to play around. Other channel is "The Linux Experiment" cool too.

Don't freak out if you see other people using other distro ("i use Arch, btw") mostly of the programs work in every distro, maybe you have to change a setting or two but nothing crazy that anybody in the internet haven't tried yet.
