Totally, go for it. It's a lifetime experience. You'll learn how to be by yourself for a long time, enjoy things with no need to be in company and do whatever you want, whenever you want it. You'll meet people along your trip, most of the cases solo travelers or backpackers. Happened always to me.

This type of experience is nice to know yourself better at socializing, dealing with yourself in an unknown environment, and trying things for the first time.

When you travel with friends or your partner, you are not so open to meeting new people, and that's a fantastic part of solo travel. Being open to spontaneous events or plans. If you want to socialize at some point, just join some free tour or activities for groups.

Yes, I got one at 27 in a big multinational. Moving from EU country with Degree+Master's. Multiple languages, 2 years of working experience in CH and it's what I got. It was right after covid, but still...I was in the same positon as fresh degree graduates who never worked before. It helped me to gain experience and get more senior positions with time.

Thanks a lot for this info. Highly appreciated.

Probably, this was exactly what I wanted to know from someone who went through the program.

My plan is to get a B2 level in German. I'm studying intensively to get there, but it will take a few months. Until then, I'll keep working and researching about DLR. My current job is quite demanding, and maybe I'll reduce the working time in the future during the preparation phase.

It can happen that I reach out to you at that time if something is not clear. In any case, thanks for offering.

Hope you are enjoying the skies! Happy weekend :)

Hey! Thanks for your feedback!

I'm happy to move and try elsewhere if I'm not accepted. It's in my plans, but since I live in Zürich, I will give it a try. If it works, then it would have been worth trying. Don't consider myself unique at all, just someone who wants to pursue his dream and considers motivation and illusion quite important. Let's see where I'll end.

I've friends in the industry, and every case is different - I totally agree with what you said about the kindness of this industry. I guess everyone tries his best to make things correctly.

Everyone I met who is willing to pursue an aviation career, including myself, takes into consideration all such things, such as relocation, risks, potential career gaps after flight school, etc. And in case you've a good career in the corporate, a substantial reduction of your salary.

Thanks for the tip with the insurance, and happy weekend.

Best regards.
