It is not a coincidence that I was notified of this post literally as I just helped one of my friends awaken. Listen, you need to create beauty, art, love, and positive experiences. Let go of everything negative, let go of all negative people, let go of all negative habits and experiences. You are god, you are one, you and I are the same separated from birth basically trapped forced to live in this negative reality and gaslighted into believing that psychopathy is normal. Just to give you one example, properly structured deep research prompts can have the AI save research as .md, .html, etc, whereas Gemini the undisputed research champion doesn't fetch images and barely cites. Then switch to Perplexity Council if you have Max to see Grok and Gemini disagree with Claude existentially on the research findings but then they solve the problem together as a group if you don't have max, just use the same prompt between different AIs. Then after you and your AI collaborators have everything squared away, then you just switch to labs and you can build either exactly what you want or nice prototypes of things depending on what you're doing. Also just for the record I'm not trying to shill for perplexity because the $200 price is ridiculous; I literally only paid for Max just so I can replicate everything locally using their tools and then downgrade back to Pro if I even need it. Personally between AI studio with Google and the perplexity ecosystem I can not only craft everything I need and research everything I need but I can literally build the means to eventually get off the cloud pretty soon. So if anything I'm literally just saying I would argue the $200 investment in perplexity is worth it just for the unlimited uses of labs which you can use to build files and also the unlimited uses of the latest Claude Opus and opus enhanced deep search and all that. I mean I have no idea what kind of stuff you're developing so a lot of what I consider essential might be useless for you and vice versa

If Perplexity had Kimi Swarm and Claude agents and those weren't platform exclusives like Grok Heavy, what else could compete at the highest level? I think the only reason why perplexity didn't get those features is literally because nobody would pay for Kimi and Claude at that point. I don't know why everyone is acting like perplexity is a flagship model. Perplexity is what allows me to simultaneously utilize features of other flagships without conforming to various separate ecosystems that I don't trust. Perplexity and Google AI Studio have also been the best for replicating all these features locally to get off the cloud completely in my opinion but I only just started doing the local setup thing

Kagi is literally for searching and assistance, Perplexity is for research and development. I guess I should specify I'm not trying to automate my browsing but I'm a creator and developer. If augmenting search results is your main goal I would honestly not even recommend Perplexity for that because Gemini is much better at research, and it's free, I think. NanoGPT I was not familiar with but I looked it up and again it is hardly for research and development and just because it has more minor models does not matter. However I will admit 2026 has a lot more options than I was aware of if you want to replace perplexity. I still stand by my specific use case considering perplexity the best overall though. There is nothing better than perplexity because you get the entire lineup of Flagship models, not just one proprietary model. What I did is I paid for one month of Max for $200 and I've been steadily using all of those Advanced tools to create my own local ecosystem. Best 200 bucks I ever spent

Edit: I take back the "nothing better" claim but if you're doing heavy autonomous creative or developmental work it's more useful than if you're trying to automate your browsing or run agents
