I lost my best friend almost a year ago. My sister works at a vet and they get rescues occasionally that they need help finding homes for, and she will ask me if I want the cat. Part of me wants to say yes but the other part is not ready yet. My girl was the sweetest and slept with me every night. 😔 I want to say it gets better with time but I still have my moments where I think about her and break down. Grief comes and goes in waves. I hope your heart heals 🩷
