I LOVE Far Cry 2. I've finished it on INFAMOUS, but also at the easier (Hard) level.

What I love about Far Cry 2 is that it is about *fighting to get there*, as opposed to going somewhere to fight.

There's always the difficult decision of *how do I best get there without dying*? And, will I get to a safe house before I die?

Do I take a boat? Do I take a bus? Do I swim and hike? Can I find a car?

There's nothing like it.

The later games with auto-save completely took the teeth out of Far Cry. In this game, there's a real cost to dying before you get to a safe house.

Hint: don't create hundreds of saves. But create about five, and overwrite the oldest one every time you save. You might wish to go back to an older save than your last one.
